Typhoon almost always has an hour wait or so if the water park is even somewhat crowded. I had to skip it yesterday. I rode Bonzai Pipeline yesterday and it was about a 15-20 minute wait around 5 pm. The initial drop was quite the thrill, but the transitions between turns was a little uncomfortable (you could really feel where the slide pieces came together). So if I get to the park, head straight to super man and, well, any other rides I should hit up first before it gets a huge line? I was thinking if I get to the water park at opening I should be ok to get a few slides (typhoon and bonzai) in no time? Im coming on thursday.

Buy online and use code "DUNKINCT2016" to save a few bucks Thanks for the code! Im probably gonna get here around 5 (planning on leaving SFNE around 4). The park closes at 8, is that enough time to get the major things out of the way? -

Thanks guys. I booked some place for 65 with tax in harrisburg. Like 30 mins from the park. If I weren't gonna be in the room for more than to sleep for the night, I would look for fancier digs. Now, If I can leave Knoebels by 7 im def gonna take advantage of the preview hours! -

Decided to take a trip here next Saturday and I just had a humbling experience looking at admission prices lol. Being a pass holder to virtually every major corporate park chain minus Disney, seeing the one day price is definitely sticker shock! How can I get it cheaper? I've notice the last you hours are included on the next day ticket, would you have to pay for parking twice? Looks like I need to do laff and ferenheit first correct? Any other tid bits and tips? Anyone else going to be there? -

How are Fridays here this time of year? Aside from getting the perogies from that one particular place, are there any other tips and tricks? Discounts? -

It could have went out and now they are cycling to make sure everything is ok. -
I'm sure Fury is a great ride' date=' but I really don't think one ride can make up for a lackluster lineup, which Carowinds has. .[/quote'] Actually it does. It really makes the park that much more enjoyable. With Carowinds, Fury 325 has reintroduced a lot of people back to the park and they now have a more favaroble view of it. Also, with the addition of Carolina Harbor this year, its like a 1-2 punch. ALSO, with the addition the 5 new flats next year . . . Carowinds will be launched into an even more favorable catagory. I like both parks but I feel right now, Carowinds has more charm and seems to be gravitating towards its roots while SFoG has more value and seems to not care about much else. I would love to see more done with the original six flags that ruled over the area vs just plopping a DC ride/section here and there. And this is a first for me, as I felt more people enjoyed top . . . afterburn a lot more than many coasters in the park.
