  1. Sorry Larry, always forget to check this thread before my journeys. Here's a pic if Beech Bend's spinning out (with the old man in it). Did not get pic of sign though.
  2. Not to highjack thread, just making comment in regards to you facebook comment earlier in the month, but you travel the same if not more than I . I have 10 wood left in US, with a lot being same, maybe time for us to get em together?!?! Gold Striker (CGA) NM Rattler (cliff's) Boardwalk Bullet (Kemah) Kiddie coaster (Rye) We can both cry the blues to get on together! Outlaw Run (SDC) Goliath (SFGam) American thunder (SFStl) Cannonball Run (Waterviller) Cheetah (Wild Adven) Switchback (ZDT's) Great pics on train too. Cost worth it?
  3. Mine was 8.5 when she first went to any park or rode a real coaster. It was Dollywood, Nov 2012 and WE was her favorite at the time. I think it still is, even though she really like LR last month. She wouldn't ride the outside seats, but did ride both sides. She will now It took me 3 years to get her to ride MM, TT, or BS again though. TH and WE were it til FCE. Do they still take pics at 2 places on WE? She only got one on the photo card in June, but maybe the guy screwed up. edit: Ugh, no small thumbnail option... PS, at 50" she can ride everything in the park. Great pics, thanks for sharing. I only seen the one place for pics on WE, maybe someone who frequents more can specify.
  4. Guess i had a really lucky 2 1/2 days at the park then. Overall got in 8 rides over those 2.5 days. Not bad considering one full day at waterpark. I got a ride in early today after it opened at 11. Not sure what time it went down, but was only running one train. Call me crazy here, but hear me out. While yes the park has a great coaster with Lightning Rod, the true hidden gems are Firechaser and Wild Eagle. From a family standpoint these two coasters are awesome with the lowered height restrictions. The look in my 7 year old (Klaire) who's 50 1/2" when she heard she could ride a coaster (Wild Eagle- 50" height restriction) that usually only daddy goes on was awesome! And the smile on her face for the whole ride and hearing her giggle was incredible. The same goes for my 4 year old (Miranda) who's just shy of 42" was delighted and very happy/excited to ride fire chaser express.
  5. And this is why you stick it out after a T-storm. Practically a walk on. ***edited just to say, 2 train operation after t-storm. Yesterday was 2 train operation and went down once at 3:30 but that was for brake run issues. Can't speak for today as I had my family enjoying the waterpark. But man she is wicked fun at night!!
  6. ^ that is true, for now. I'm here today and not bad with crowds so far.
  7. Thanks for some great pics of the park, looking forward to my family's visit this year.
  8. Tree topper at upper Clements Nova Scotia. though now it looks like its called Roller coaster.
  9. Legoland Florida and Fun Spot before our Disney Cruise in May.
  10. Thanks so much for sharing this trip. Some stunning photos in there. Certainly now a bucket list item!
  11. Long story short, am playing role of intern maint manager, had budget mtg with uppers, found out salary of my other supervisors counterparts that sit around all day and do jack shit. I'm well underpaid!!!! And now playing intern manager like an idiot. Everytime I think I can move up or make a name, I get it ran up my ass. When will I learn.
  12. That really looks like a great movie, it'll be one that I'll have to keep an eye out on to watch. Thanks.
  13. Lagoon in mid October. Can't come soon enough!
  14. Turbulence at Adventureland, NY Thunderbolt at Coney Island
  15. As far as places to eat, you might want to give Paesano's a try. Some truly awesome sandwiches. http://www.paesanosphillystyle.com
  16. No trees in my backyard, but they are now after an impressive storm. Going to be no help on home owners since premium is too high and "even if it's your neighbors tree the second it crosses your line it's your responsibility, just hope you have nice enough neighbors to help with it".
  17. Doing my part for TPR. Updating now for Santas Village Azoosment park. Looks like they got 4 new rides not just the wacky worm. So here pic for database. Hope they come out alright.
  18. No new rides set up or even started setting up at Bay Beach as if yet and from asking employees doesn't sound like they even know saying, "What new rides". I'll take pics of all if you need let me know. Here's cover of new park map showcasing the 3 new rides though.
  19. I know 3 posts in a row, but found the duck from TimberFalls.
  20. Yea Larry, they are. A few more years and well have more. Thought they'd love Mt Olympus but Miranda (3) was actually pissed at the weird height restrictions. So was I though, had her on the Star Flyer 36 min height with adult (she's 39 1/2), and the had was a buckle for lap bar no hip seat belt. But a 42 height on the miser drop tower, 40 for little titans (couldn't get her on)???? They'll send her 140 in air with her able to shimmy out easily, but not on any others?? Weird. They LOVED Little Amerrika though!
  21. Heres Manticore from Mt Olmpypus. No entrance sign as of yet Larry. Here pic of ride and ride sign. Hope pics are ok as they are from phone.
  22. Got the duck from Knuckleheads in Wisconsin Dells. Only about 3 years worth of dirt on them.
  23. Well the Miller family is on another family park tour. Today's stop was Little Amerika. Look who was still here!!! Needs aome cleaning but got him! Hope the other are still in place.
  24. Indiana Beach on Wednesday. Hope operations are ok.
