Sea World Abu Dhabi back on the docket for 2022
Drop-Out replied to ginzo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ugh. They got my hopes up and crushed them for another damn park in Dubai. I really hope that the entire Dubai project performs a California Adventure, to prove they should have spent the money here to help improve our experiences, not for people who are insanely rich and can afford to go to Dubai without selling their leg. However, with all the money they are pouring into it, it's going to be a hit. Poo. -
^Yeah! It was announced after they announced Nickelodeon was taking over the park, and I was like, "What the hell? Do you not listen to your own press releases?". Imagine is a Nickelodeon-mini golf course was added where it is. It would looks so cool, using Spongebob's house as one of the holes or a Ghost from Danny Phantom trying to knock the golf ball off the path.

Odd. Shouldn't the Jimmy Neutron wrap be on the column closest to his ride? The column wraps look really cool, and they can be changed out when all the shows featured in the park become outdated in 2 years. Anywho, I hope that Rugrats gets a column wrap, it would be cool to see Rugrats being acknowledged in the signage around the park as well as the bumper cars(which look surprisingly neat).

*Replace HISTA with a Tron-themed 3D movie that utilizes the same theater. *Bring a new version of Rocket Rods that works out onto the PM track *Replace Redd Rocket's with a new, updated version of Mission to Mars, perhaps with a robocoaster *Create two new films for Star Tours, run the original one with them and have guests choose their destination *Move the Rocket Jets to their rightful place above the PM track with a new look as bright, neon wrapped flying saucers *Remove the former Cosmic Waves section and add a new futuristic fountain that is not accessible by guests, perhaps include the large marble as part of it *Replace all of the Autopia cars with electric cars and add a new color scheme to the current buildings *Make the Tomorrowland Train Station indoors as a futuristic train depot *Turn all of Innoventions into the House of The Future, not just the bottom level, and feature the section where the new Rocket Rods are as part of the future transportation segment *Use the former Astro Orbiter footprint as a new, alien-esque landscaped area with a new sign similar to HKDL's *Remove all of the rockwork around the entrance and replace with new, planetary pavement patterns and potted plants *Use the Starcade for the return of Circlevision with a New Film *Add new colorful murals into empty spaces above the Tomorrowland Terrace *Remove the current murals above the Astro Blasters and Star Tours buildings and replace them with new, glowing Alien hieroglyphs *Replace all paving with new, planetary-themed paving *Ditch the Agrofuture concept and replace all plants with large plam trees and small bushes and plants, with a few metal flowers and palm trees thrown in *Remove the Star trader and replace the area closest to Tomorrowland with a new Space exibit sponsored by NASA, like the one from 1998, and the area closest to Star Tours' exit with a new space-terminal themed shop. That would be my version of the Unused Tomorrowland 2055 concept As for unrealistic, but rather what I want to see happen= *Move Nemo's entrance to Fantasyland, use the former Motorboat Cruise area as part of the new queue *Annex Nemo into Fantasyland as part of a transition section between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. There we go... -
If they touch any of the theming one bit, I'll kill them. Uh, it's Nickelodeon Universe. Not Paul Bunyan Universe. It may have sentimental value, but the mall doesn't care. Why else would they have signed the contract for it. Oh, and the support in front of Spongebob is likely the support for the big mountain and sign like in the concept art.

That makes two amazing actors in one month. Not a good start to 2008.

Since Cedar Fair got the parks, I don't think they will add the Nickelodeon retheme until they absolutely have too, or change it to snoopy. I give it two years. -
