  1. Are they keeping the old trains and just adding on-board audio and a fresh coat of paint?
  2. I'm sure he means that because of WCB, there may not be any major updates within the next week because a lot of people have posted pretty much the same photos recently. Plus, I can't imagine that there has been a gigantic amount of work done within the last week.
  3. StarStruck-Lady GaGa, Space Cowboy, and Flo Rida
  4. I know it used to be. I think thats the reason so many of the Rotoshakes disappeared. I know it doesn't get the attendance it used to also. I have never seen more than 10 people on it at a time now a days.
  5. The Mighty Axe/Tak Attack is a Zamperla Rotoshake. It is the last one in the US. The falling star has a Danny Phantom theme. An example of a Rotoshake. This one used to be at Six Flags America. http://www.zamperla.it/
  6. Are there any plans to remove rides for this new addition? Where would they put a new roller coaster without removing a ride? My guess would be that the balloons and train rides would be removed and put the coaster there. A kiddie invert would actually make a great addition to the park.
  7. Here is a video of Lena Svenson taking a ride with the contestants. Lena is one the hosts on the Dave Ryan in the Morning Show on KDWB, the radio station sponsoring this contest.
  8. They just crossed the 1,000th ride mark today! There are still 4 people left and you can keep up with the contest with these web cams. WEBCAMS The 4 riders are wearing the blue shirts.
  9. This isn't a park or coaster but rather a city in which a park is located. Shakopee, MN is commonly mispronounced as Sha-Kop-"E" but is really pronounced "Shock-A-Pee". Shakopee is home to Valleyfair.
  10. Let's See: Minnesota Iowa Colorado Indiana Wisconsin Illinois Michigan Ohio Pennsylvania New York Massachusetts Virgina Maryland Florida California Washington Kansas Missouri North Dakota South Dakota Washington D.C. I know I have been to more, I just can't think of them all right now!
  11. Well, heard on the rado yesterday that Robert Rodriguez was to be the eighth rider, but has since canceled for unknown reasons. The bright side is that now there will be eight contestants.
  12. ^^Maybe he is the mythical 8th rider on Spongebob. The contest says that there is only seven contestants, yet there are 8 seats on a spongebob car. Hmmmmm... Maybe Robert will simply ride along with this bunch of non-stop coaster riders.
  13. I saw Bono on the teacups at Disneyland back in October 2004. Pretty cool to see him.
  14. Haven't gotten mine either but they did say something about 6-8 weeks for delivery.
  15. I highly doubt it. The parks are both profitable and probably would only be sold as parks as the land they sit on, at least in VF's case, has horrible value right now because it is right next to a dirty river that often floods. Thats not a good place to build up some houses/condos. The only reason I can think of why Cedar Fair would sell would be because they need some quick cash.
  16. I can't say anything about WoF, but VF has defiantly seen an attendance spike in the past couple of years. Last year seemed to be the busiest yet. There were things like 1 hour waits on Wild Thing, which was running 3 trains on many weekends, something I hadn't seen in the past 6-7 years. ' I highly doubt they would sell a park that is becoming even more successful every year. Especially one that was one of the original parks and holds a sentimental value to Kinzel, being that he was general manager there for 8 years. Just my $.2
  17. Grizzly is under rehab/retracking currently.
  18. I noticed that you were in MN by the airport signs and i noticed MOA/NU by the support that only belongs to SSRBP.
  19. I have a few including the Office, 30 Rock, the Simpsons, and Family Guy. Lie to Me is starting to grow on me though.
  20. I really had my doubts about this coaster when it was announced but now, it really looks like a top-notch family coaster.
  21. New Photos. Splashdown looks to be pretty cool. Click HERE for the rest of the photos.
  22. My vote would go to either Kings Island or Valleyfair. Though the second one is a little biased, Valleyfair is still a pretty nice park.
  23. Theatres at Mall of America Ticket-$5.00 We saw FIRED UP!
