  1. Piece of Me-Britney Spears Her best song in a LONG time by far.
  2. I don't know, Renegade had markings all over the place right around this point in 2006, but they didn't really start the dirty work until August/September so it very well could be a big coaster. Who knows, maybe it will be the rumored GCI.
  3. So yesterday a few of my friends and I decided to go the Nick U. I was the only one who had been there since the rebranding (Opening Day) so I got to show them around. We got there around 2-2:15 and decided to ride Avatar first. It only had about a 12 minute line. We rode it a few times. After Avatar, we went to Spongebob and rode the front seat 2 times. After that we went to Splat-O-Spher for a few great rides on that puppy. After Splat-O-Sphere, we went around the park hitting up rides along the way such as Jimmy Neutron(Treetop Tumbler), Danny Phantom (Screaming Yellow Eagle), Fairly Odd Coaster, Tree Swings, Avatar and Splat-O-Sphere again, Spongebob for a few more rides and then the Log Chute. After getting off the Log Chute, it was about 5:30 and we were starving, so we went to eat dinner. After dinner, we went to ride Tak Attack (Mighty Axe) and Pepsi Orange Streak, both of which are still boring and slow rides. After we got off Orange Streak, we went to Avatar for a couple more rides and then to Splat-O-Sphere for one more ride. Then we headed over to Spongebob again for 3 laps(2 in front, 1 in back) and from there we went to Ghost Blasters. After getting off one of my favorite dark rides, we went to Avatar for 2 more rides before going to McDonalds for some free McWaters and McDiet Pepsi before heading dowstairs again for a ride on Fairly Odd Coaster. By this time, it was about 8:50 and the park closed at 10, so we decided to get a few more rides in on Avatar, Splat, and Spongebob. After 6 consecutive laps on Spongebob, we headed over the Avatar for one more ride of the night. But since no one was in line, they let us go twice without getting off (Hearing this Cedar Fair). It was 9:57 when we got off the ride, but since we wanted to buy a few things before we left, we did not get a third ride on it. Zero-g!!!! I will upload more photos later. Nearing the top of the lift ... Spongebob was a little rougher than 3 weeks ago, but was still a GREAT ride. ... ... Splat-O-Sphere was also running really well. Avatar is so fast, you can't see it clearly Avatar's Control Panel's Screen Geek Shot, Avatar's control panel ... ... ... But there were sadly no more human gates, just yellow metal ones Avatar was running really well today.
  4. According to Screamscape, it should be up and running by Saturday.
  5. Coaster Crew has some new photos up as well. Here's a small sample: New colors of the track. The loop will still be yellow though. Find more at Coaster Crew.
  6. How much lower can they go? http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080318/nytu045.html? Here's a cool little logo http://www.NewsPlusNotes.com posted:
  7. I am pretty sure my IQ dropped big time after riding this thing this summer. I think it being the lowest woodie on the charts says something pretty clear.
  8. POS will be repainted in phase two or three along with the rethemeing of the Log Chute. BTW, there was well over 7,000 people there that day. It was more like 50-60,000 little peeps in that one room. I had never seen the park as crowded as it was ever.
  9. Avatar is over a pit. The human "air-gates" are there to stop people from falling off the edge of the floor and possibly breaking a bone or worse.
  10. I thinks it is scheduled to open on May 23, 2008. That's the Sat. of Memorial Day Weekend.
  11. The building is a mechanical room for Jimmy Neutron/Treetop Tumbler, Ballon Race, and Screamin' Yellow Eagle/Danny Phantom.
  12. ^I think he was talking about the old Stadium Grill/Stampede Steakhouse that are now both vancant with borders saying Wait...The is More Soon.
  13. I think you caught me in a few of the first photos of Splat-O-Sphere. Great pictures. It is fun re-living 4 hours ago!
  14. Sorry, I lost track of time and when I looked at my watch it said it was 1:46 and I had forgotten all about meeting up.
  15. ^I think that is what it will be rethemed to in the near future. The park was packed today. You can expect a full video and photo update soon. It was still a great day.
  16. ^Yeah, it was. Stampede Steakhouse and Stadium Grill are now both gone. BTW, I am leaving in just a few minutes for the mall. Photos and video.
  17. I don't know if anyone remebers this or not, but tomorrow is Timberland Twister/ Fairly Odd Coaster's 4th birthday. It open on Monday March 15, 2004.
  18. I doubt it. But I will check to see for sure tomorrow. BTW, The Park at MOA is now no more. The park closed at 8:00pm for the last time w/ that name.
  19. Here is a video tour of the park from Star Tribune: http://www.startribune.com/video/16656081.html
