NoLimits Challenge - Winter 2010/11

Technically, it's okay as long as the track type is not a wooden coaster. I never said that lattice supports were not allowed. -
IMO, it's not the effect, it's for safety reasons. The trains on Dare Devil Dive and Huracan (Belantis) are a whole row longer than the standard Eurofighter trains like on Rock Bottom Plunge. The drop would produce unbearable negative forces for those riding in the back if it wasn't fitted with a holding brake. But, I've never seen a POV of Huracan, so I don't know if it uses the same system. I'm only going with what I've learned about forces in high school and college physics. It's kind of like how Steel Hawg and Mumbo Jumbo have a trim brake on the top thirds of their drops.

I for one think Knoebel's Twister is under-rated. It's not the best, but it is a very powerful ride and has amazing classic charm.

In Windows XP, Vista, and 7, if you right click and go to "New...", one of the options that shows up is called a "Compressed (Zipped) folder". Drag and drop your file into that new folder. The reason why I am asking for .zips is because I want to save as much space as I can on my computer. -
My absolute favorites? 1. TopGear (BBC) 2. Spongebob Squarepants 3. Mythbusters 4. NCIS (original) 5. TopGear (History)

TPR's Game Exchange! BETA TESTING!

Curious - will there be a link to the Game Exchange on the top bar of the homepage (Forum, Park Index, etc)? -

Submissions are now open! To submit your design, please send me a private message with the track or pack attached in a .zip file. If you have already posted your design in this thread with a download, it does not count as a submission. When I receive a private message with your design, I will consider the design in its final form. There are no second chances! If you submit your design to me, that's it! I will not accept a "V2" design if you have already submitted once. No exceptions! Entries will be judged at my earliest convenience after they are submitted. However, all scores will be released at the same time, approximately five days to one week after the deadline. -

^This. Seriously, how could you all possibly judge this ride with so little information released, especially considering we haven't even seen trains or a P.O.V. THIS. I for one really like the "floaty" coasters. Go ahead! Don't ride X-Raptor! That means there's one less person in line for when I go to ride it (if I ever get to go to ride it)! -

Bad phrasing. I shouldn't have said MCBR - I meant to say to have the extra block section before the lift as opposed to in the middle of the ride. -
Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread

I actually really like The Boardwalk. The area made Roller Soaker much less of a gimmick (which, even though it's boring as a ride, is a heck of a lot of fun with the right people). The only thing I didn't like about it was that it took over the Canyon River Rapids location. I could see a unique hyper coaster being built. Instead of having a mid-course brake in the middle of the coaster, they could have it right before the initial lift hill. That way, there is much less work that would need to be done to Comet's structure, and you'd be able to go through the entire course without slowing down until the final brakes. -

It's not a "cookie-cutter" ride. The only "cookie cutter" rides B&M has are Batman: The Ride, Superman: Ultimate Flight, and Skeikra and Raptor, if you could even call them "cookie-cutter" rides. Every single Sitting coaster and Standing coaster has its own unique layout. -

IMO, Hersheypark doesn't deserve another "short" coaster. Storm Runner is over and done with before you can blink, and Fahrenheit is short as well. I hope whatever they put in is at least the length of one side of Lightning Racer. -

The bottoms of the top hat get steep too fast. Also, you may want to change the barrel rolls of the Norwegian Loop to roll to the outside - they would look better that way IMO. Looks good otherwise. -

I'm liking everyone's designs so far. Just giving a mandatory warning - submissions open in a week. Please do not PM me or do something similar to give me your submission until next Thursday. Any submissions I get before I officially open them will be discarded. You won't be disqualified for it (Believe me, I'm not a jerk), but it's kind of annoying. -
Reynold's Park [RCT3]

Here's a tip for using the in-game "non-custom" scenery if you didn't already know - If you name one of your guests M Brookes, you can build the collision-detecting walls on the edges of paths, like in RCT2. -
Ocean Kingdom in China

So...anyone want to guess how long it will take China's amusement parks to take all of the records?
