Six Flags America (SFA) Discussion Thread

Worse - if Iron Wolf ever did get moved anywhere, they would probably call it Green Lantern. -
Black Falcon -GCI Style Woody [NL]
A.J. replied to Coaster Mike's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Outstanding. I do believe in cleaning up auto supporting and adding detail work, but I'm not the kind of person who will sit down and tweak every support by hand. I just wouldn't be able to stand it. The only thing I dislike about your ride is the use of a mid-course brake run. -
What Rides Scares the Crud Out Of You?
A.J. replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The ride itself isn't scary - it's that blasted truck horn. -

You can't. The only thing you can build in the scenario editor is scenery. You have to create your landscape first, save it as a scenario, then open your park in the regular build mode. -
Official RCT3 Help Thread

This is the forum where you can get help with RollerCoaster Tycoon 2/3, and NoLimits. This is not a computer help forum. There's a reason why Google, Bing, et al exist. Coincidentally, Google developed Picasa. So, you should have no problem finding information. -
Two really great (though often under-rated) water slides are the red and blue slides of Camelbeach's Triple Venom.

Whoa! That's so strange! That must mean that those trains were completely custom. -

We've got another potential problem child - named HHnfan2. We recently got a report from AngryGiant of HHnfan2 posting a whole seventy lines of spaces with minimal actual text in the RCT3 help thread. That post has since been deleted by yours truly, and the report has been closed. -

Well then, glad I snagged a ticket while I still could. -
The Official East Coast Bash 2011 Thread!
A.J. replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Question - East Coast Bash is part of the Road to Cedar Point trip, correct? Does that mean that "TPR Takeovers" will happen during the day? There has to be a massive number of people attending! -

I always have used the twenty-four hour rule wherever I go - I guess I got carried away. If what I'm doing is wrong, sure, I'll jump off. -

I feel like we should make a public service announcement about the help threads. We've been getting a lot of questions about navigating operating systems and figuring out how to use computers. Agree, disagree? -

I can't help you there, but I can help you with your NE problem - Just use tags there, and use the URL of the screenshots you uploaded here. Our server is much more stable than Imageshack! -
The MEGAtube slides aren't amazing at all, in my opinion. You get one, maybe two swings on the inside of the tube and then...nothing. You just meander to the end.

Official RCT/RCT2 Help Thread
A.J. replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
The answer is simple - select your scenery in reverse order - Step 1 - go into the "Theming" tab and select the scenery groups with objects you're going to use. Step 2 - deselect the objects you don't want in the small scenery, large scenery, walls, etc tabs. All of the Wacky Worlds scenery groups have one space before the first letter, and the Time Twister groups have two spaces. Don't bother removing the expansion pack scenery. Some of it is actually useful, and the expansion pack scenarios are fun to play. -
All right, I closed the contest for this week. We have three entries. Typically low RCT3 numbers. We really need something easy this week. I'm thinking a NoLimits Spinning Mouse contest due to the recent NL1.8 update.

Most Notable Accident

The Fujin Raijin II accident (what you just described) seems to be the most notable in my opinion. -

No, it always adds and removes from one set corner. -

A.J. replied to mcjaco's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Well, that's the only thing you can do. I don't want to pull a "you're doing it wrong" on you, but if making a Custom folder in the Style directory doesn't put the ride in-game, then, well, "you're doing it wrong". -
Jin Jiang Action Park to install GIB
A.J. replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I bet it's a NoLimits simulation. NoLimits doesn't have the GIB trains. -
Paramount's Kings Adventures [RCT2]
A.J. replied to Fat-G's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&start=270&t=53557 Scroll to the middle-ish of the page. Fat-G, you need to include all the custom rides that are present in the saved game (including the ones that you did not place but are still in the ride selection box) in a .zip file with your saved game, because they do not export like custom scenery does.
