  1. Yes, Hersheypark has TONS of trees. Hershey Park is themed more than any Cedar Fair park. Just look at Chocolate World, the Kissing Tower, and the little things around the park, like street lamps shaped like Kisses.
  2. Yeah, when i was at SFMM last summer, I loved Deja Vu! In my opinion, they need to spend more time tweaking them and perfecting them so they don't break down, and add more around the country.
  3. A moving sidewalk from the park's entrance to Lightning Racer. I'll second that--especially if they rip out that damn Vekoma Boomerang to make space for it (actually, that's the only really "bad" coaster in the park). I found Sidewinder to be the smoothest boomerang I have ever ridden.
  4. This might be the must useless post ever on TPR. Congrats to you. Was that comment really necessary? Anyway, I'm so glad that this park is only an hour away from my camp! I hope they are using the single bench trains, if they don't, this coaster will probably age badly and be rough and unenjoyable in only a matter of a few years.
  5. Have you guys personally spoken with the footers? I'm just wondering if they gave you the inside scoop that they're B&M's? Scott "I think I remember people speculating that Maverick's footers were B&M as well" B. I examined them and looked at many other pictures before I made that statement. Unless Intamin, or any other company has drastically changed their footer design, they are B&M.
  6. ^ Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. It will be their 11th coaster, hence, "better than a perfect 10". I hope it's a B&M, period.

  8. I can't wait to ride this next year!
  9. Supposedly they are all going to be torn down.
  10. Those are definitely B&M footers. My guess is that it's a hyper over 200 feet, because Goliath is only about 175, so A B&M hyper over 200 feet would qualify as "something Canada has never seen before".
  11. Thunderbolt a few hours ago. It's my last coaster of the 2007 season.
  12. Supposedly the Log Jammer at Kennywood is going to get removed after this season and an attraction that will be "very well received" is going to take it's place. I hope it's a B&M hyper or a GCI woodie...or a new coaster, period. http://www.screamscape.com/html/kennywood.htm
  13. Here we go again. That's probably a topple tower.
  14. ^ I was thinking the same thing. I never saw it run all day either, and I looked over at it pretty frequently. I meant to go over there and check things out, but forgot.
  15. Awesome TR! I was there Tuesday also! It was crowded, but mainly with little kids who don't ride anything anyway. I never waited more than 30 minutes for anything. Here's my review of the coasters. Storm Runner is good, but I still like TTD better. It has some cool unique inversions, though, which are especially fun on an Intamin rocket. Wildcat is still a little rough even with the new MFs, but that's understandable, considering it's older. It's still a great coaster. Lightning racer is awesome, so smooth. Lightning is the better side, not only does it always win, but it has a slightly better layout. Sidewinder was the best boomerang I have ever ridden, very smooth (for a boomerang) and minimal headbanging. Great Bear was good, but too many straight bits, they could have done more. An awesome ride at night, though. And I love that it has the good old B&M roar. SDL was awesome, very smooth and fun. Comet was cool. I tried to loosen my seatbelt to fly out of my seat, but too bad the coaster has no airtime whatsoever. Trailblazer was meh. Wild Mouse was great! It went so fast, went right over the pool, and seemed as if you were going to fly off the track into the pool! Had great airtime also!
  16. ^ It's close, but the endings are slightly different. Chang has an extra corkscrew. Great pics!

  18. Great pics! I was just there yesterday after 5 years of not going. Here's my review on the coasters. Storm Runner is good, but I still like TTD better. 22. Great pics! I can't wait to go there next year!
  23. Good to hear. I was hoping that they didn't ruin that part of the ride, especially the double-down. ^ I would as well. A B&M hyper would be nice.
