Last night I saw Ben Kweller perform at a small venue in Atlanta called the Variety Playhouse. He pretty much sold it out, and it was awesome. I was standnig right infront of the piano, so when he played that we were right there. BK really knows how to put on a show, because he played atleast an hour and fourty five minutes non-stop. He played all of his good songs, but strangely my favorite song of the night was the second song, hospital bed. I was not a huge fan of the song before the show, but he did a really great job on piano and was really into it.

Thunderhead. Not a bad ride to end the day on. -

Oh ya, I definately think there is more air in the front, especially on that first weird turn, which is easily my favorite part of the ride. -

Ya. I love it, especially near the front. This is really the only front seat woodie that I like. -

I agree. After about three rides I was able to brace myself in a way where I could still enjoy the ride and avoid headbanging. -

I just got back from my two day trip to Dollywood today, and I have to say it was amazing. This was my first time ever to Dollywood, and I was very impressed with the beauty of the park and how friendly the people were. I was very happy with the park because we went for the coasters, but got so much more out of it than that. Saying that, the coasters really were amazing. I was happy because I really loved Thunderhead. I was afraid that it would not live up to the hype for me because I have been on Kentucky Rumbler, and I have to say I was not to impressed with the airtime on it. Thunderhead on the other hand had atleast 8 great spots of airtime. Most of the airtime on Thunderhead is not sustained for long, but it gives a lot of short, strong pops of suprise airtime, which was a fun change from most of the airtime I am used to. On top of the airtime, Thunderhead provides one of the most out of control rides I have ever been on. It is so twisted that it is nearly impossible to know where you are going next. It is also one of the most beautiful coasters, because of its curviness and being perched on the side of the mountain. Overall, I would say Thunderhead is my second favorite woodie overall, still very far behind Voyage, and passing my old second favorite, Hades. I also liked Mystery Mine a lot, but I did have a few problems with it. For one, it is very, very short. I was suprised when I found out that it is only 1,800 ft long. Another problem is there is a good deal of head banging on the first half of the ride. Other than that, the ride is very fun. It has a great theme, and is very well done. If the ride stood alone without any theming, it would not be anything special, but it really is very cool. Please check out the video I made in the professional ametuer Videographer section! -
Photo TR: My first Georgia Park Adventure!

I agree with Joe. did you ride in second to last seat? If not, go back and do so immediately. If you ride in the back seat, pain will follow. If you ride second to back, you will have a fairly smooth ride and you can enjoy the amazing airtime it supplies. Georgia Cyclone is my second favorite ride at the park. Don't hate it. -
Want to work in the game (pinball) industry?

You should take a look at my little brother Tommy, although he is deaf, dumb, and blind, but he sure plays a mean pinball. -

Wow that was hard!! I couldn't even find most of the parks let alone small details. All I could find was Magic Kingdom and Epcot. MGM, Animal Kingdom and the water parks either were right near where I was looking, or I don't know Disney Word at all. -

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread
easytoremember replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Those are really low capacity and with a park like HW where their attendence is increasing every year, they might want to purchase something that has more than 2 cars per train. Mabey they will get the kind where they trailor a couple spinning cars togeather. -
Pretty good, but you missed Bob Dylan, Keith Moon(The Who), Pete Townsend(The Who), and the one artist who is current, Ben Kweller.
