  1. ... and Pipe Scream; "the coaster that provides all the feels. The one that dreams are made of". Yup... it still really says that
  2. You're not wrong. It's better than it has any right to be but it's not like it's amazing either. The rooms are well taken care of but it has paper-thin walls and a loud train nearby. I feel like my tastes are changing because I rarely stay in places like that anymore but it's also Sandusky and there's just not much to choose from.
  3. They cancelled the Covered Bridge festival last week and it’s always the same time as PPP. As for your other question... no idea
  4. It always races in the summer (in normal years), they just have no staff at this park and racing Gemini is usually one of the first things to get cut so in shoulder season and for Haunt it's rare in a normal year and this year they're just historically short-staffed all the time.
  5. That's insane. Are people slapping hands or are they being super paranoid and lame?
  6. I'm honestly kind of surprised but cool.
  7. Rougarou is open apparently so I guess every coaster is open for the season now except for Wicked twister which they probably don't care about anyway.
  8. Oh wow... yeah that's a deal-breaker for us to go out-of-the-way to go to Morey's this year BUT if I happened to find myself in the area I'd still swing by and pay $20 for the two of us to ride the flume once and leave, sure
  9. Agreed on most points... except the part about it not being hilariously expensive.
  10. Not unless something goes horribly wrong.
  11. I actually really, really like Gemini when it races and you can slap hands with the other train. It's a blast. Otherwise though... it's whatever. The best way to ride a floorless coaster comfortably is to sit down in your seat and ride it however you want. But seriously yeah I sort of do that too and it makes them less bad but I still don't really like them.
  12. ^ Agreed, welcome to TPR though! Feel free to continue the discussion over there at the above link.
  13. I feel like you get that on basically every floorless though, don't you? They're still regarded as being really smooth rides (except Patriot, f*ck Patriot). Counterpoint: Even the best standup coaster is still a terrible piece of crap compared to a middle-of-the-road floorless coaster. I feel like that's like saying "I had the best Suzuki Forenza on the lot and now I just have an okay Lexus". Personally, I'll take it.
  14. I feel like Rougarou is a perfectly middle-of-the-road floorless coaster. It’s not going anywhere, there’s nothing wrong with it. I get why people overlook it but it’s also an infinitely better ride than some crap like Corkscrew or maybe even Gemini when it’s not racing (which it won’t be).
  15. It depends on the ride but every ride except Wonder Woman should have a very short wait.
  16. Maybe the dealerships are just better in Orlando. Sometimes in Ohio there are just so many dealer prep fees and other bogus fees that dealers like to tack on that you end up paying way above retail for your retail car. It's always good to shop around.
  17. The Covered Bridge Festival has been cancelled.
  18. I don't even really like that flume as much as most since it's obnoxiously wet and just bangs around at high speeds without even really floating ever but I mean... yeah.
