  1. As long as we can all agree that our opinions are better than others, it will have true value. The thought of people feeling differently than I do about this attraction hilarious. People other than myself are idiots and fools. Consider it 2022 politics. You're grouped in either flavor, even if you're close to the middle and lean ever so slightly one way: I submit myself to WoF, as this is the greatest attraction in the world. Anyone who doesn't worship the park for this addition hates the park, is entitled, and knows nothing. I'm not renewing my season pass to WoF, and I'll never go again. Maybe WoF didn't deserve a giga, but at least give us an Orion. I hate you WoF and I hope you catch on fire.

  2. El Toro was glass smooth for a long time. Now it isn't. The turnaround and bottom of the RT hill are so rough that my fiancé tapped out at 2 rides, I tapped out at 3, when normally I'd be down to ride Toro 20+ times in a row. Even parts of the ride that are still "smooth" aren't as smooth as they once were. A full re-track a la Colossos would work wonders for this coaster. And when I say the park should maintain it correctly, they are building their own replacement track sections instead of ordering them from the manufacturer or the manufacturer's contractor. This seems to be a contributing factor. I know this likely won't happen considering Six Flags' clear position on the issue, but it seems to be catching up to them.

  3. Geez, right after an extensive safety evaluation last year, THIS happens. I'm getting Son Of Beast vibes, and it's making me feel uncertain for the future of El Toro.

  4. El Toro is currently trending on Twitter this morning. You'd think it exploded into pieces and a million people died.

  5. I'm with you on this, and I figured it was just me getting older. I think RMC has done amazing things for the industry, but some of the newer ride elements that enthusiasts seem to rave about (like outward-bank airtime hills and stalls and whatnot) do kind of baffle me. The first roll on this thing just looks really unpleasant, even though it's likely cool to watch from the ground. It probably won't be long before RMC does their first fully inverted chain lift or an outward-bank turn that slowly grazes you up against a cactus or something. And, as always, great report!

  6. They're fixing it up in-house. It's going to be a full refurbishment after being sadly neglected over the years. It's all being done by hand. There's a display off to the side of the ride entrance with several informational boards explaining the history behind the Batmobile and the extensive process to restore it to its original glory.

  7. FYI to the Alphabet Mafia... this year's Out On the Mountain is Friday Sept 9th. A little earlier than in past years. The flyer is definitely giving some *Graphic design is my passion* vibes...

  8. We had to put our cat to sleep tonight. I was the last thing she saw. I was wearing a Pirates of the Caribbean shirt with the silhouette of a skull on the front and text on the back reading "Dead Men Tell No Tales." RIP Kisses. October 2008-August 26, 2022 1:09 am. We adopted her when she was about 9 months.
