jedimaster1227
Over the last year, I've been going through my family's old photos to see if they had any historical photos from their trips to the parks in their lives. Fortunately enough I've struck a goldmine with different members of the family and they've been gracious enough to let me share them here! Starting with photos from my wife's family, we found some really neat photos from Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood and even a few from the Magic Kingdom and the Miami Seaquarium! I stared at this photo for a long, long time when I first found it! It is neat to see the Submarine Voyage from its years pre-Finding Nemo! The flash flood scene is still on the tour today! The western town sets are still onsite too. Main Street USA in Disneyland! The Mark III monorail traveling over Fantasyland near it's a small world. The famous Disneyland entrance. Going in! I'm thinking this burning mansion was replaced with the War of the Worlds set. Not sure what this was supposed to represent on the tour. The collapsing bridge back in its heyday! Here's a real gem! These are the geysers from the Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland! JAWS!!! There was an actual steam train onsite? The Haunted Mansion's exterior hasn't changed too much since this photo was taken... I believe this was the Parting of the Red Sea scene from the Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Backlot Tram Tour. America on Parade in Disneyland! Look at the Sunkist Citrus House sign (now used for the Carnation Café sign)! Not the best photo but still worth including for the costumes. Imageworks at the Journey into Imagination Pavilion, back when it was still open for all guests to explore. These characters were so abstract in their design! America on Parade passing the French Market Restaurant. it's a small world The Miami Seaqarium, back in the day. The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf on Main Street USA. You'll never see trainer interactions like these again... This parade was pretty incredible! Brer Bear coming down from the castle forecourt stage in the Magic Kingdom. And kind of all over the place... Really all over the place. An old telephone? This was another neat find! Skull Rock and Captain Hook's Pirate Ship Restaurant had both been gone for over twenty years before my first visit to the Disneyland Resort. Pilgrims with a turkey... This view hasn't changed too much over the years! Snow White and some of the Dwarfs. The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at the Magic Kingdom... Not much has changed here.
