  1. Here down in Melbourne Oz, we have prices at $1.50 litre. So converted to US is, about $6.20 a gallon. We are getting ripped off!
  2. Melbourne, home of the Australian Open tennis, Grand Prix, melbourne Cup horse race(public holiday-how cool is that!), Bells Beach surf, great restaurants and nite life. Oh and the best game in the world Australian rules football-Go Tiges.
  3. Great trip report. I was at GADV two years ago nearly to the day and had an awesome time. El Toro is at the top of my list of coasters, and your photos bring back some fantastic memories. Would have joined in the tour this year but couldn't for finance reasons(tear), hopefully a 2009 TPR East tour goes ahead. I'd love to join that one. keep up the great work and trip reports guys and gals. You peeps in the US are sooo lucky to have such a kick ass park close to enjoy. Again, great report and hope to enjoy your company next year.
  4. ^^^^^^^Hey Disney dood how was the show? Viewed a couple a songs on the tube and it looks awesome. Can't wait till they come downunder.
  5. Gutterflower thanks for the updates. Pity that Everland site is not in English, would love to read all the details about this coaster. BTW I've looked to see if anyone has posted a simulated POV. Heres the link blog.naver.com/fl0621/80046174554 Hope it works. Enjoy the airtime.
  6. That glass box experience is at Eureka Tower in Melbourne, two hours flight south of Brisbane. JZ, I happened to notice on another thread that you like Velvet Revolver. Well your in good luck. They're playing the Brisbane Convention Centre on Friday 15 February 2008. Definitely see them if you can. Enjoy yourself.
  7. Robb, you have the incentives to lose weight very close to you. The two loving females in your life, And I'm not talking about about food and beer! Remember The Simpsons episode when Homer gets stuck in the water slide at Splash Mountain? DON'T let that be you. All the best on losing the weight. It's not a diet, change your lifestyle habits. Stick with it. Reading here, there's heaps of support.
  8. I've tried to find the last post from R+E about sign-up numbers, but can't find it. If I recall, I think there's about 80-90 for Europe. Hopefully there will be 100 by end of Oct. Don't quote me on this.
  9. I often get asked if I would like some pasta with my parmesan. Gotta love the quality cheese rather than the cheap stuff. Jarlsberg with some salami or prosciutto and a dill gerkin wrapped together, mmmmm. King Island (Aussie) Brie on crackers. Now that I think about it, I probably eat cheese nearly every day. OK i love cheese.
  10. What the hell is going on with Apple? No FM tuner? Listen to your fav songs on the way to a sports game then tune into the game. Year of the Tiger 2008. Richmond Football club. Go Tiges. Oh yeah, Apples earphones are crap. Bought myself a pair of Sennheiser CX300. They rock. And they don't fall out when i run.yay.
  11. "Gravedancer"- Velvet Revolver Libertad: Go get yourself a copy.
  12. Just sent my deposit for the Europe trip. Woo Hoo Another Aussie to add to the list.
  13. Hey wayned, great to hear some other aussies are planning a trip Cp and SFMM and Vegas. I'm planning a trip myself for late may to July. My pencilled trip is as follows-Melb to Lax, Lax to Cleveland, Cleveland to CP, then fly to boston,Drive to SFNE, Lake Compounce, SFGADV, Hershey Park, Knoebels,PKI, fly from wash dc to Vegas, drive to LA for SFMM, knotts and Disney. Phew i'm just tired typing that. All up about 7 weeks worth of coasters. Does anyone have any hotel recommendations for the parks between SFNE and PKI. Thanks To all who have helped people with advice regarding future trips, a big thank you.
