Photoshop Tutorials

I searched and didn't find a topic on this so here it is. I just got photoshop and i need a good tutorial on it, so if anyone has one that would help a lot thanks!

Photoshop is a complex program with literally thousands of different facets and features. Saying you want a tutorial on Photoshop is like telling your history teacher you want a summary about the history of time.

 

You can probably Google around and find some sort of beginners guide to the program. Or better yet, spend some money (or go to a library) and pick up a "Photoshop For Stupid People LOL" type book. That will get you started.

Ya i know that Photoshop is complex, i meant just to get started, a place to start. Next time i go out ill get a "Photoshop for Dummies" book

In the meantime, try Googling "photoshop beginners" or "photoshop basics". There's a ton of sites with info on this.

Also if you goto google and you find a photoshop website see if they have a good forum because I've joined up with some photoshop teams and they will teach alot of things you would never know you could ever do. And also they're really good guys and will be happy to offer you a hand.

You know, I was just going to post that site. I've used that site to learn photoshop after using a photoshop basics book at school.

This site has literally thousands of photoshop tutorials that you could do. I use it all the time and have learned a lot!

Yesss, Good Tutorials is awesome, it won't tell you the basics (where the filters are, getting a hold of layers, etc.) but it shows how to make alot of really cool effects.
