Guy T. Koepp Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Eric, You are a Gentleman and a Scholar! You didn't hear that from me! Wait, I wrote it. Gosh darn it! Me and my stupid ability to write what I think. Arrrrrrrrggggggggh! Anyway, you rock dude!
Guy T. Koepp Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Elissa, Some of my money peeps are asking for a recipt. Is this do-able?
SharkTums Posted March 24, 2006 Author Posted March 24, 2006 ^Of course! It's tax deductable so it's not a problem! If they're sending a check, just send it my way and I will write a thank you and send that with a receipt to the address on the check. If it's cash, just make a note of their name and address and I'll send it that way!
BelizeIt Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Hello Elissa. I'm mailing my $100.00 check today, for the Special Olympics. I believe that you said that because of this donation that I will be honored to receive a DVD from TPR. Be that the case, I would like to have a DVD that covers my favorite Theme Park IOA. I currently own your Japan DVD which I love.... But, I look forward to your IOA DVD, because I was blown away by this park when I visited it a couple of years ago.
SharkTums Posted March 24, 2006 Author Posted March 24, 2006 ^Not a problem! You'll get some other goodies too!
Splash_Mountain Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 LOL... Duh. Any idea on how I could get to Valencia? Hop on a Bus to Hollywood. As you get off, there will plenty of kind gentlemen willing and able to help you get to the San Fernando Valley. Once you get there, do your obligitory 5 scenes, exit the warehouse and take a cab the 15 miles to Magic Mountain. That's what I did. With a little time and therapy. You'll be fine. LOL... That made me laugh so hard. Erm, Valencia is how far away from Anaheim?
Splash_Mountain Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 It's mangable... 58 mins from my hotel. I really want to do this. I'll have to see what we are supossed to be doing on that day.
Splash_Mountain Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 I'm talking it over with my parents right now... they only think that the travel day would be wasted...
Guy T. Koepp Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Hey everybody! I am stepping up this challenge! Check out my thred in Random, Random, Random. Under Polar Plunge! Get a chance to have your name go down in history! Robb or Elissa, or ASSistants. Would it be too much to ask to sticky that thred so it dosn't get burried onto subsequent pages? Guy "Shamless attempt to get more money for Special Olympics." Koepp
SharkTums Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 ^You've got competition...Antonio and Giovanni are kicking some serious butt! Seriously though, I received CFC and BeliezeIt's checks. Your goodies and tax receipts will go out soon...Thanks again! This is going to be fun!
Guy T. Koepp Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 ^Awwwwww! That's not fair! All kids have to do is give those puppy dog eyes and people just throw money at them. I have to stoop to reckless and embarassing tactics.
Guy T. Koepp Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 I see a check! You see your name on a body part! It's that simple.
arrowfanman Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Alright folks! I pretty much just got the confirmation that I will indeed be attending the actual event! Sign me up for Team Theme Park Review, please! There...now the team isn't just freaky adults...its freaky adults and teenager. Come on kids! We needs some more representatives from the "we aren't going to fall over and die any time soon" division! If you aren't going to go for the fun, then go for the cause. And if you aren't going to go for the cause, then go for the fun. A bajillion of you live in SoCal, so I need to be seeing more people on this team! I dont care if you have "a thing." Honestly, what do you need to be doing at 9am on a Saturday morning? I know that the prospect of sleeping in after a week of work/school sounds appealing, but going to Hurricane Harbor, and perhaps hopping over to SFMM around mid-day for a cause as worthy as this will be so much more satisfying! I mean, I do work at the Riddler's Revenge and I'm sure something can be arranged for all of the participants...wink, wink. -Jahan
SharkTums Posted April 15, 2006 Author Posted April 15, 2006 ^Awesome Hypoteneuse!!! And we do have a few 'kids' to keep the rest of us from falling over dead! Antonio and Giovanni will keep us young! Did I mention to all of you high schoolers, that technically this counts as community service, and I have the power to sign your forms when you need hours!!??
Guy T. Koepp Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Can I swap community service hours for this insted of doing that garbage pickup thing on the side of the freeway? Orange is a fall color and my skin type begs for spring/ summer.
SharkTums Posted May 5, 2006 Author Posted May 5, 2006 Don't forget, the Plunge is tomorrow! Even if you didn't register ahead of time you can show up between 7 and 8:30am tomorrow to register and get admission into HH for the day. Don't want to plunge? Come in for free in the morning and cheer on Team Theme Park Revew: Robb, Elissa, Guy, Jahan, Joey, Antonio, Giovanni, Pennie, Dino and hopefully some last minute additions! Thanks again to everyone who donated and we hope to have a Photo TR Tomorrow afternoon (including Guy, KimPossible, and the speedo!)
CoasterCrazy88 Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 We can't wait!!!!! ----Antonio"See you tomorrow at around 8 o'clock"G.
