Fatality
I thought I might share this with TPR. I hope this is useful.... Questions and Answers Welcome everyone to the very first “Questions and Answers” blog for Cedar Point’s myspace. This feature allows members to message me with their unanswered questions in hope of me answering them. If you have any unanswered mind puzzling questions you wish to be answered, then feel free to message me, thanks. Here we go! Connor writes: Q: "DEMON DROP? STAYING OR GOING? IF IT GOES, WHAT WILL GO IN ITS PLACE?" A: Demon Drop was put up for sale during the end of the 2005 seasons. From the looks of it, the ride didn't seem to catch the eye of any buyers. So instead of Cedar Point removing the ride and letting it sit in pieces in some parking lot waiting for a buyer, the park is choosing to keep it opened for this season. Jeff writes: Q: "Do you know any hotels in the Sandusky area that the minimum age to book and stay in a room is 18?" A: Although Cedar Point's hotels require guests to be atleast 21 to book a room in one of their resorts, I believe there are other hotles around the area that allow you to be 18. Source: Expedia Brian writes: Q: " Do you have any pics of them removing White Water Landing?" A: Personally I do not have pictures of the site. The only pics that are public can be found on "On Point" Cedar Point.com's blog and various other locations. Lenny writes: Q: "Are they gonna get a new coaster soon!!!" A: Although not announced, look foward to 2007 for being the next year for a new coaster! Mike writes: Q: "Any talk about reclaiming the title of the world's tallest and fastest coaster on the planet?" A: There always is some kind of plan going on at Cedar Point to build the next tallest and fastest coaster on the planet but that doesn't mean it will happen anytime soon. There has also been many rumors made by the public that Kinzel, Cedar Fair's C.E.O. for the past 20 years, will be leaving with some sort of "bang". Personally I don't see why this would call for some sort of tall coaster going above 500 feet. Two out of the three coasters built this decade beat the height and speed record. I think Cedar Point will take it easy (as far as height and speed are concerned) these next couple of years. Well, this concludes our first "Questions and Answers" Blog! Please keep those questions coming and I'll be sure to have your answers! -Cedar Point

CP_RULES
!!WHAT IS IT!! I noticed that earlier on the blog and Im going crazy. I have a hunch about it though. Everyone remebers the trademark Cedar Fair filed for the name Maverick. Well, the footer is located in the frontier area, and "Maverick" is a frontier name, so my hunch is the ride will be named Maverick, coaster or not, but I love how they are making it a secret ride. Too bad suspense SUCKS!
Gnome
^ They're releasing info earlier and earlier while at the same time not releasing to much info so that way we all spontaniously combust with excitement.
