l3ite_me1313 Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 W00t! Our family bought a new computer yesterday. So I Re-installed RCT 2 fresh. So no other parks. Just this one i'm working on. It sort of has a Woods/Colorful theme. I've been working on it a bit. I will give ya some SS's later today.
coasterdude5 Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 The coaster is a bit odd but the buildings are great!
l3ite_me1313 Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 Believe me, I am sure the coaster will look a lot better after i build al the arch and paths around it, so it blends in with the envoirment
Liampie Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Your coaster is not realistic (weird inversions, weird supports), and your buildings are too untidy. Look to real parks and their buildings, so you can make things more realistic.
l3ite_me1313 Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 k... I'm not going for realism here. I'm going for eye-catching and unique.
Liampie Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 k... I'm not going for realism here. I'm going for eye-catching and unique. But ist's still untidy.
GeorgiaDawg278 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 it's quite eye catching. What are the stats for the cosater?
BiCoastal Kid Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 k... I'm not going for realism here. I'm going for eye-catching and unique. If your building style is admittedly not for realism, will stop complaining to people ARE going for realism? And I agree, it still look entidy. If you continue to expand your buildings in the same style, byt the time you do fill out what is under the coaster it's going to look like a scrap yard.

Well people have to say what they are GOING for. So it makes it easier to judge. I think my buildings r unique, not untidy. I don't build EVERYTHING like that, but most I do. I mean i criticize people, cas sometimes The building styles I see are so common. Not a lot of people build like me.
Liampie Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 This looks far better than the other screens. The only thing missing is some green trees.
l3ite_me1313 Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 I know i'm not done with the PARK. I just do the important stuff first, then add the themeing and landscaping later around it.
coasterguy618 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Great Park. One thing I did not like was your coaster. The colors are ugly and it is just wierd. Other than that it is good!
anush 10 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 The supports look interesting, but toooooo unrealistiv
BiCoastal Kid Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Your building remind me of Frank Gehry's Venice Beach house. http://www.horton.ednet.ns.ca/staff/syme/hago2004/Design11/Frank_Gehry/975854-S.jpg http://deathstar.rutgers.edu/people/dtulloch/pics/venice.jpg It's all random and juxtupositioned, except the oddities in your buildings don't really convey a feeling or a message or a general theme. Just my opinion.
l3ite_me1313 Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 Here is a Screen of the New Hotel. It's only about 75% done
BiCoastal Kid Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I actually really like the hotel. It makes sense, it's cohesive, but it's still interesting.
maliboomer Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Your coaster is not realistic (weird inversions, weird supports), and your buildings are too untidy.Look to real parks and their buildings, so you can make things more realistic. Liampie, on several threads you have totally dissed others parks, and in 80% of those complaints, you wrote nothing that would actually help them, just plain 'I'm better then you' insults. I don't want to come off as unfriendly, but it is quite rude. That won't generally go down well here.
l3ite_me1313 Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 Thanks Bi. I find that if I change the screen to 600x800, it helps me add detailed features to my architecture. Then when i''m done i switch it back
coasters 4 me Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 At first I didn't think the coaster was very good. But since you have good architecture in you parks, it makes up for that. It looks really good with the buildings a scenery.
l3ite_me1313 Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 Thanks I'm going to finsh the Hotel today.
pepsie Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Great job... I like the colors because that color is the only who look realistic... if you know what i mean...
