ECZenith Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Hey there, Sorry to make an entire topic on this, but I was hoping one of you could help me out. I noticed some of you have been to Tokyo Disney Sea, and of course, TDL, and are of course familiar with the place. I was wondering if anyone knew if the park's attraction pins were available for sale online... (In particular, Journey To The Center Of The Earth and Raging Spirits) I'm having a hard time finding a place that sells foreign Disney pins. I know it's kind of a strange request, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
robbalvey Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 There certainly were "some" pins, but not in the volume they are here in the states. What is more popular is the "Dingly Dangly" things people attach to their cell phones. Have these things taken off anywhere else other than Asia? I swear in some of the stores in Disney there was entire walls dedicated to these things. Here's what's currently on my cell phone: The "Dingly Dangly" things that are insane in Asia.
ECZenith Posted January 21, 2006 Author Posted January 21, 2006 Well, you learn something new every day. Only a matter of time before they're popular here. Here's two pictures of what these two partiular pins look like... if you happen to see them somewhere, lemme know please. Raging Spirits Journey To The Center Of The Earth
robbalvey Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 We saw both of those when we were just at TDS. I know that Jeezus Juice will be there later this week. Maybe he can pick some up for you for a small handling fee! --Robb
Erik Johnson Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Go to Ebay, you can find a whole lot of pins for decent prices there. That is where I got a lot of my cool Tokyo Disneyland Halloween pins.
Nrthwnd Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 ^ Oh good - finally a thread about Disney Pins!!! (hee hee hee) I am currently collecting the Piece of Disney History II collection, and as well, the rest of the Dave Smith 20 Moments Series, both ending this December. I have a number of HMH pins form TDL - actually my fave Scary Teddy, lol - and a few from TDS too, all thru Ebay. "Buy It Now" or 'bid till you win' on Ebay! Just register, set limits (hah), have ways to pays them efficiently, be polite and thank your sellers and leave them feedback only when you receive the goods - and point of fact, they should leave you feedback once you pay them, hmmm? I find it sometimes frustrating they they don't post FB first, when they should, since you've done your part to them, by paying them for said item. Anyway, Ebay is a good place to find such pins aplenty.
Erik Johnson Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 ^^ Hey I will sell you my 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea pin for $300..deal? Yeah I have the full set of the Piece of Disney History Pin set..they are cool
ECZenith Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 Yeah, I ripped ebay apart and couldn't find either. I just PMed Jeezus, maybe he can scoop those up for me. Thank you for the help guys!
What Now Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 What is more popular is the "Dingly Dangly" things people attach to their cell phones. Have these things taken off anywhere else other than Asia? I think I've seen some of that here in the States.
rollermonkey Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I have danglies on my cell phone. I have one for White Cyclone and one for Galaxy Express 999... But I live in Japan, so that makes me normal!
Louise Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I've seen the dangly things being sold in shops, but haven't seen many people who actually have them on their phones. There was something of a craze for them a few years back though, at my school at least.
Jeezus Juice Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Sweet! I can pick up some new danglies for the piercings I just got on my danglies!! Sean, It's all good. If I see a dated Raging Spirits opening pin I'll grab a sack for each of us! -Don /sack...he he he
