peteb
I agree that they're pretty ugly, especially those side guards that look inspired by a tilt-a-whirl car, but I imagine they're there to keep you from sticking your arms out and touching the track. Let's hope they at least reduce some head banging.
Joe Cool
The front makes them look ugly needs to have some sleek look in the front because the rest of the train does.
coasterguy618
If only they could prevent a train on Vekoma coasters that could prevent this
trustkill22
I dont think they could ever make a headbanginless (good word tyler) train with the way some of there tracks are.

Mind Eraser
The trains on the Boomerang in Finland are the new Vekoma trains. Efteling's Python has the new Kumbak trains. The Kumbak trains looks awfully painful -- no head room. Any time there is only an inch of room between your ears and the harness, that's just not good. http://www.rcdb.com/ig897.htm?picture=18 http://www.rcdb.com/ig897.htm?picture=17 http://www.rcdb.com/ig897.htm?picture=25 I wanna know why Efteling got rid of Python's relatively new, beautiful Vekoma trains? Shockwave
Maybe they got a deal when they brought in KumbaK to build the new water coaster for this season. But those trains were pretty new.
