Token Yankee Guy Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Day After the Storm Pictures Winter is one of my favorite seasons up in New England. When the snow falls it coats the land so nicely. And what's nice is whenever it snows, and you listen, you don't hear anything but the wind a bit and to me it's very peaceful. Today I decided to take some pics of me out and about in the snow. Looking up my street to the Cul-De-Sac Looking at my car which I need to clean off before I go to work at 5 Looking down my street That's how much snow we got so far. And it started falling last night close to midnight too. Here she is jumping to catch one Xandra tries to eat the snowballs as I make them Xandra catches a snowball in her mouth This is where the treehouse was. Back of the house Our backyard You can see how far my boots sink into the snow Xandra loves to play in the snow. Xandra is ready to go outside to play
Hattuchili Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Craig, I am so jealous! I want some snow, too! It is raining here and looks so bad! However, next year I´ll see your wintertime with my own eyes! --Sören
CoasterCrazy Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I wish the south would get some snow, I hope we get some before winter is over.
dandaman Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 There's a cold snap heading through in a few days. You just might.
DarkStitch626 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Can you send some of that snow to my friends over in California LMAO? If it snows here in Jersey I either want ALOT of snow or none at all. :? I dislike it when its like a dusting cuase its not worth it. Cool pictures !
trustkill22 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Alright^^^ Im so mad because its been on and of snow up here it just snows then melts and rains for 4 days straight but at least I got my 2 tobogganing days in so.
Homer Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Glad you're having a lot of fun in the snow, Craig! I sure did when I was in Pennsylvania 2 weeks ago. -Carl "Snow tubing down hills is so much fun!" F.
Erik Johnson Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Boy it was a nice day in Florida. We had a really big thunderstorm pass through and now the temp has been in the lower 70s. Nice PTR, but I sure do not miss snow.
CreativeForce Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Wow Craig, You're street looks a little different from what Rebecca and I saw this summer! We've been getting a lot of rain but of course no snow here in So. Cal. (except for the mountains, but you have to drive to get there.) but I think it would be fun to go out into the backyard and enjoy some winter wonderland time. Throw a few snowballs for me. Thanks for the pix!
USRoadTripper Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I would love to get one snow like this a year...you get nice pictures, you get to throw snowballs, kids get out of school, then it gets warm again and you don't have to deal with icy streets. -Julie

AznShortBoi8021 Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Its not a wonderland onces you start shoveling. I hate winter. Great pictures, though.
CoasterCrazy Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 The new pictures look great! You should take some pictures after the snow starts to melt, that is the part that I hate.
