Hey Robb and Elissa,

 

I was wondering why dont you make the Boards a Christmas theme? It would give the site more character and make it look nicer and more festive.

 

Just a question.

They're in Asia right now having fun riding awesome roller coasters. They don't have time to do a changeover.

Maybe a "holiday" theme in this politically correct country.

 

Still, my family is not what you would call 'religious', but we still have Christmas with presents, lights, etc.

I am sure they will not change the design, because it is the offical TPR design! I really like the site how it is! Another point is what Wes said: they are very busy and now in asia!

I know they are busy, but I was just wondering even for further Christmas's? Or even Hallow'een theme for Hallow'een time? I just thought it would be a change and look nice for this time of year. But yeah, I have to say that the original theme now is really cool.

I however am a full supporter of advertising christmas and such. But i think it would be more trouble than its worth for R&E.

Yeah, not sure if that's really us to change the board just for a holiday.

Yeah, it's probably just me, but I haven't seen many sites decorate just for Christmas.

Yeah, I know. I put this topic up so this site is Unique, and also, weeweeslap.com have a Hallow'een theme going on at Christmas time.

Anyway, I was just wondering.

Another reason is doing those "makeovers" is actually a decent amount of work, and with us both having "longer than normal hour" full time jobs and stuff, I'd much rather spend the free time we have adding REAL content to the site (photos and videos, etc) rather than just re-skinning the forums which might look nice, yes, but doesn't really add any functionality or content to the site.
