Okay, so here's the deal. I am going to start a brand new park. My computer is down at the moment, but we are going to get it looked at tomorrow. So, right now it is in Step One: Company.

There's a plot of land in Northern Maryland, in the USA. It is a decent sized plot of land, and almost every big company is looking into it. Six Flags, Cedar Fair, Paramount, and more!!! But who do you think should buy it? Cast your vote now, the auction is tomorrow night at 10:00 Eastern Time!

*The point of this park is to get everyone involved. The company, the name, coaster types, and so much more, you will be involved in!!! At every new step, a new poll will be added, letting everyone input their ideas to the park! This is a park for you, designed by you!!! Start now, you only have 24 hours!!!!!*

Thank you, zburns! A lot of work went into planning this, I have a lot of polls on a piece of paper sitting in front of me!!! I'm even putting you guys up to choosing the manufacturers and types, so if you choose an Intamin steel, then you next get to choose if it is launched, a giga, etc. It took a lot of work, but I think it will be worth it!!!

I didn't put Disney because I thought I'd leave that to the best, Luxo

It sounds like we have alot of Busch, which is definately going to be ALOT of work to do!!! But I'm up for it 8)

BTW, coasterdude5, SFA is in Largo/Upper Marlboro, it's on the border I believe

I put Universal, cause they don't have a park near there, but I also think Six Flags, cause they do have more then one park in a state. And I also think Cedar Fair.

So, my votes:

Universal (I voted for in poll)

Six Flags

Cedar Fair

Ok, the time has come!!! Thank you all for the tremendous amount of response, I didn't think this would end up so big!!! Anyways, it is official, and you clipped a news article our of the local paper:

ANHEISER BUSCH TO BEGIN AGAIN

Nov. 26, 2005: In a last minute bid, Anheiser Busch, the proud owners of Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Williamsburg, VA) and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (Tampa Bay, FL), are starting again! The auction for the hundred acre plot of land took place at 2:00 EST and ended at 5:00 EST, allowing time for full news coverage.

"We are very excited, and very ready, to bring this field to the 21st century", Park Representative Mary White said at the auction. "With high tech coasters and fabulous thrills for the whole family, this park should not dissapoint!"

But what is this park to be named? That is where you come in, readers and coaster fans. It is up to you to tell Busch what to name the park. Go to the web page http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/posting.php?mode=reply&t=20660 for more details!

In another article right under that one, you found this and decided to save it:

ANHEISER BUSCH TO OWN MORE THAN THOUGHT

In a feild study on Friday, November 25th, every company found that they were bidding for more than just land. A now defunct Arrow Shuttle Loop and a very old Carousel are placed in the back of the feild, where the front of the new park will be located. At the auction today, Park Representative Mary White commented, "Before yesterday, we thought we were just getting land. A large reason why we went so high in the price to get it is to have a piece of history. And this will be forever History. Dating back to the early 1980's, we will not demolish the two attractions currently in the park. They will, however, be restored to their former glory!"

So, you have chosen to follow the park's construction. As the first article stated, this thread is where you go to input any name ideas for the new park. On Monday, hopefully around 5:00 EST or 6:00 EST I will post a poll including all name entries, and you will vote for your favorite that IS NOT your entry. I feel that I can trust you on this, to give your fellow forum goers some credit for their work. The vote with the most votes obviously wins!!!

Again, thank you everyone for your input! I cannot wait until my computer is back up (it is getting looked at tomorrow by our Computer Technician neighbor), I will start! Until then, start submitting your ideas!!!

I was thinking about it, and there will not be a poll for the park's name. The name is Busch Gardens Baltimore. I went with Baltimore because it is a very populated city (which I happen to live 30 mins away from ). Busch believes that they will have the best turnout here, considering that Annapolis is only like 10-20 mins away from SFA! The next step is.....well.....to get my stinking computer fixed! And as long as it is fixed by Wednesday the 31st, I will start then!!!

Well, here it is! I know, it is behind, too much school I know you have been waiting for it, and BGB is proud to present the Main Midway to their park, including a Arrow Shuttle Loop called Aquifier and a Carousel with a canvas covered line. I wanted to do this before I went to school (2 hrs late) so there will be some fixing tomorrow, because I am sure that it is not perfect for a rushed job Enjoy!!!

The Main Midway, as you can see I am using the old SFBeachSide Scenario!!!

I wasn't sure who made them

BGB IN A NEW DISCOVERY

Dec 6, 2005- In a recent discovery, the so called "Arrow shuttle loop" is actually a Schwarzkoph shuttle loop!

"We are sorry for the mix up, I guess we need to get to know our coasters *laugh*" said Park Representative Mary Flubber.

In further news, the park is sheduled to open in 2010, and is sheduled to open with two coasters and an array of flat rides. Until then!

Happy now

*EDIT: Before anything starts here just like a few other threads, the above was a joke. Do not take it offensively, it was just something I found kinda funny.*
