Ok, well I didn't see it myself, but I heard a bunch of people call in on the radio and say something about 2 fireballs hovering over Ahwatukee. The people said they like stayed there for a while, and then like exploded. There was then some sort of a strange shadowed object hovering..and then it disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Alot of this weird stuff happens over phoenix, it might be stuff coming down from the groom lake/area 51 area. Who knows, but its kinda weird. I like it! lol..I didn't see this, but I saw the one back in '97, it was weird. http://ufos.about.com/cs/famoussightings/a/aa121403.htm

So'd ya see it!?

I saw two lights over Northern Phoenix (about an hour north of Ahwatukee) at the Loop 101 and I-17 interchange around 7:15. It sort of just hung up in the air. Then, it made a crazy down-left dive (to give you guys a parallel....think of Raptor's first drop). I wasn't sure what to make of it, and dismissed it quickly. But now that someone else brings it up, this is really odd.

Aw, I miss living in Phoenix!

I saw the ones in 97 also, several lights hovering over the sky. They never really explained it. I think they tried to say it was the military, but I've seen them practice with their flares and light apparatuses and the 97 lights were nothing like that. Freaky stuff happens in the desert!

I lived in Glendal (outside Phoenix) for 10 years.

And no, these are not from Area 51, Jets, or some guy with major heart burn!

Its just small balls of energy that combine in the mountains (surrounding the valley). The energy comes from the rocks and stuff like that.

And after a while, if enough energy, these balls shoot at high speed. Enough speed to look like a head on accident into a car.

Its hard to explaine, because it gets into atoms, energy, and combustion. But really, its not from Area 51

These were not balls. There were two lights, white, and they were over an area were there are no mountains (East of Thunderbird Park in Glendale and Northwest of North Mountain/Lookout Mountain). They had a distinct path and were by no means temporary.
