Do you count FAIR coasters?

Fair coasters shouldn't count, only GOOD ones..

I count fair credits, but like everyone else, I only count them once and don't re-count them when they move to another fair. I know in my count of 493, only 7 of the credits came from a fair. I know it can be a pain if you're not sure if that fair coaster is a re-painted and re-named version of the same ride you rode 9 years ago or if its genuinely a new credit. But when in doubt, air on the safe side and don't count.

I absolutely count fair coasters, but I'm not actively pursing them right now. I've ridden a handful of fair credits, with about half of them being surprise credits. As everyone else has said, I seek out the operator before I count it.

Does anybody really care how many coasters you claim you have been on?

 

I don't know of a credit auditing service. If it makes you happy count it. Travel the country to ride every vekoma boomerang and SLC headbanger you can get your hands on if you feel it is important. I won't be in line in front of you.

 

I haven't tried to count how many coasters i have ridden but don't let me stop you.

^Some people are known as "credit whores" because they will travel anywhere for even the smallest of coasters. If that's what they enjoy, so be it.

 

I count fair coasters as long as I can distinguish it from all the others. I won't count a kiddie coaster at a fair, because it's nearly impossible to figure out if I've been on it before.

 

I still count coasters, but it's not an obsession. It's more about remembering when/where, so I can look back upon good memories and participate in the coaster ranking polls.
