What's new for 2017?

I'm not sure where you got the information from, but as far as I know nothing has been officially announced by Lagoon. Its mostly been rumored to be two new kiddie rides of some sort.

Agree, it has not been announced. However, people usually don't start crazy rumors about kiddie rides, so take it with a grain of salt if you don't believe it.

We have "three new family rides" being installed for Playland's 2017 Season.

 

With the word "family" in the description, I'm hoping that this is true, that adults

can ride these 3 rides, as well as the kids. And the older folks, like me.

 

There's nothing else posted as to what the rides are, etc.

You can add Funspot in Florida with their anouncement of a new woodie for their Kissimmee park. Looks to be a good one from the Gravity Group.

Bug Whirled ~ Family Spinning Coaster

 

The Flutterbye ~ a Magic Bikes ride

 

Mechanical Monkey Mover ~ A family upcharge tower.

^ Sorry I worded it wrong. Here's a sample photo of it.

 

It's not an "up charge" in the literal term. It shoots up,

instead of rising to the top and then falling?
