JakeUk
Heya, I'm Jake and I'm from Manchester England. I'm 15 years old and I loooooveeee ThemeParkReview. I am not that good with rides but when I come on here I get an insight of what rides all over the world. I only go on things like Grand National (Good ol' woodies), but hey, thats good for me Anyway, I love Valhalla and I was confused when it changed recently. Usually you take a drop forward then backwards then forwards, but when I went last week It went backwards then 2x forwards... interesting.
robbalvey
^ Woah, really? That's weird. Was the boat backwards in the station or something?
JakeUk
Nope, you go into the big cave and take a half an hour lift hill then travel round some random fires and things, then you kind of get turned and go backwards when they take the picture. It's just really wierd how they can do all that construstion of changing tracks and everything in such a confined space.
Musical Pete
The first drop has always been the backwards one, with two forward ones after.

Ed
Valhalla I swear is getting wetter.. It's that or the people in Blackpool are just eating too many chips.
JakeUk
Well if the backwards drop has always been the first then we must be thinking of different rides. Yeah Ed, I stupidly forgot to but a £1.50 water covering thing and it was the first ride of the day, so I came out like a drowned rat plus when I thought it could not get ANY worse, a jet of water shot up and knocked me out. Fry
Stormforce Ten at Drayton you may be thinking of... forwards, backwards, forwards. Valhalla STINKS!!! Seriously, it is the worst ride ever IMO. It's so wet, the effects are placed in a giant tin room, which you can see the edge of... the effects aren't even very good, just bog standard effects used for years. It's really not the "Revolutionary" dark ride everyone seems to think it is. It blows.

I'm guessing you can name one or two much better dark (and wet) rides with non standard effects then? looking forward to hearing about them SteveC
verticalzero
I'm going to Blackpool at the end of this month. I've never been on this ride before, is it worth me wearing a coat to keep myself dry..? Can't wait to go on the Wild Mouse.
Mind Eraser
Valhalla is one of the best water rides I've ever been on. However, apparently, some of the effects change, or even go out, throughout the day. When my group rode it, it was f***ing amazing! We went and told our friends who hadn't ridden it yet. They rode and were like "WTF? The special effects weren't even on!" As for getting wet, they sell ponchos in the line. But don't buy them, go to the ride's exit and grab one of the ponchos out of the trash. The whole trashcan was full of them. Aside from a little water on them, they are clean. Haha, I'm a trashdigger! -kip-

Can't wait to go on the Wild Mouse. well not a coat you value - pretty much either wear a bin liner or be prepared to get wet (go on early in the day) - this ride really does what it says on the tin - for wetness... the ice blast is so close - go on that a few times to dry yourself off (incoming sea breeze will help also)8) The wild mouse is a true classic - have fun
