robbalvey Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Olympia Looping was 7 euro, It was incredible, It was raining while I rode which made it totally awesome and I thought it was also really smooth. If it wasn't 7 Euros a ride I could of ridden it over and over again. I still will never forget that on one of our tours we managed to rent out Olympia Looping for an hour before the Wurtzburg Fair opened. Over half of the people on our tour took one or two rides and then stopped riding because it was "too intense." I had never seen such a large group of roller coaster pussies in my life! So many people I know would kill to have an hour on that ride, and most of them just treated it as a "one and done credit." Such a waste. Next time we do ERT on Olympia Looping, I'll let you know and you can be my riding partner!

BonnyST Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 See what it looks like behind the train on Olympia Looping. Filmed at Cranger Kirmes 2015, Germany. This is an awesome reverse POV aboard Olympia Looping [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
BDG Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Speaking of videos, I found this cool 4K drone video... Unfortunately the ride was not operating at the time, but it's nice footage nonetheless. Really shows you how compact and twisted the ride is. (Olympia Looping segment starts at 0:50) Some screenshots:
robbalvey Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 This right here is just proof on how much awesome can be done with such a small space. In a way, I'm happy to see some recent designs are going back to this kind of philosophy.

Meteornotes Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 This is one of my most favorite coaster photos ever. And this is one of those coasters that I really want to ride. I need to plan ahead for a trip to Germany some time to catch this credit. dt
