Anything Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Scary how cheaply and quickly some things are copied. Their top spin ripoffs must be deadly if you think how much the properly-made ones become a liability over time.
IdahoKat Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 How terrible! Looks as if it might be similar to a ride we have at my local park (Spin Cycle at Silverwood). Fortunately the standards here in the US are better than what it sounds like the ones in China are. Does anyone know if this happened at one of the large parks in China, or one of the smaller ones?
larrygator Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Does anyone know if this happened at one of the large parks in China, or one of the smaller ones? I do, because I read the first post of the thread.
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 The owner of this inverting Frisbee produced it in house without any kind of permit. The local safety department wasn't even informed that this ride will be running during that time. This ride is illegally produced, illegally installed and illegally ran by the owner without ride operating permit.
jray21 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Doesn't look like it's going to end well for the owners!
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 ^ He was already arrested. I think he's going to spend a long long time in prison.
