maliboomer
Just wondering what do you do if people are almost 'half buried' in the seats? Like their waists are submerged in the car?
FlyingScooter
shutting down the ride and re-opening fixes it for me. also works for peeps submerged in pathways.
crispy
In the graphics options uncheck the "Aggresive z-buffering" box and that will solve your problem
Angry_Gumball
Ok...now I've got an RCT3 problem. My computer easily crushes the system spec's but each time I go to load this one specific park I found, the game suckes me out and closes out on me. My computer then says my memory is too low. I know what the issue is: My memory is "Too Low, insufficient, ect" but it isnt. The game calls for 256 MB of ram recommended and I've got over 512 Megs. Secondly, (I don't think it is a video card issue but I'll add it in for extra info) the game requires at least a 64 mb video card. I've got a 256 mb...What's wrong here and how can I resolve this issue before Oblivion's (coastergrotto.com) SFMM recreation is ready for release? Lastly, I'd like to add that I am up to date on RCT3...complete with update 2.

vertgforces
problem for me too- sometimes rct3 just randomly exits out in the middle of a game all by itself and says that there was an error
crispy
make sure you have downloaded the updates for the game, as there are some serious bugs

Sir Clinksalot
^^^the easiest way to update is to pop in the disc and select "UPDATES" on the opening menu (though for some reason I can't get my menu to pop up - maybe because Firefox is open). If you can't get that to work, head over to Atari.com and look for the patches - they're not too tough to hunt down. Here's my problem - I can't get the damn program to accept the music I put into the MyMusic/RCT3 folder. I've tried it in .WMA and .MP3 and I still can't get those music selections (the Islands of Adventure soundtrack - I'm a geek) to pop up. No clue what I'm doing wrong... FlyingScooter
Here's something new w/RCT3: three days ago, i installed Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Well, yesterday, i'm playing RCT3, and having a blast at it and my girlfriends kid is looking over my shoulder. all of sudden, her bursts out laughing and then i see why. I had a crew of Nazi's in line for one of my coasters... i tried to do a screen shot and it shut down my 'puter everytime. Those two games are not in the same directory... \odd..... When you put them in the folder, it doesn't just go there. When your in the game, go to the option file thingy, and check the box that says, "use music from my RCT3 folder" or something like that. Then, SHAZAM! You have your music. I know cos the same thing happened to me. If that doesn't work, I don't know how to help you. --Davon "I know cos I'm smart like that" Dorsey

Dig The Ride
Hi, I am new! I love the site by the way. Very cool Anyway, my problem is this. I have been able to run Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 on my computer with no problems since it was released and the demo as well, until now. I looked through the system requirments in the owners manual and on the box, which I exceed. As I said, I have never had a problem with the game until now. I can still run the demo ok, but that is not good enough. I used to be able to play the full game and never had a problem with it before? . What happens is it does the whole "Frontier", "ATI", and "Atari" logos, then has the Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 writing, after that when it trys to boot up the game, the screen goes black, and then takes me back to my desktop, saying "RCT3.EXE encountered a problem and had to close, we are sorry for any inconvenience". here is a copy of "dxdiag" ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 4/2/2005, 22:53:19 Machine name: YOUR-PHTW5CYNHC Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA System Model: Satellite A70 BIOS: PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.1 Processor: Mobile Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.20GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 446MB RAM Page File: 197MB used, 879MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ DirectX Files Tab: No problems found.
