Jew Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I'm having a brain fart right now location wise...Chocolate World is going to occupy the former nightclub space?
Double0Kevin Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 The old nightclub will be retail space. That is what is behind the big black wall/tarp inside. If you are outside looking at the hotel, that area is to the right of Nine Fine Irishmen and Hershey's will be just to the left between NFI and the MGM bridge.
jray21 Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I'm just glad there's going to be a Chocolate World I'll be able to visit!
Jew Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 ^Were you banned from the other one for consuming too much product?
jray21 Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 The S'mores were amazing. I tried them all and they were all perfect. I hope they have them in the Vegas Chocolate World!
Double0Kevin Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Not a whole lot. Last time I was over there, they barely had started on the facade. But it's now October so the new Fiscal year has started and maybe new funds have started flowing again to the project.
Jackdude101 Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Perhaps Hershey can also take over operations of the roller coaster at NYNY, give it a Hershey theme, and give it a new name like "Code Brown?"
Double0Kevin Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Drove past tonight, not much has happened at Hershey's, but they did completely demolish the old City Center Preview/ Leasing building between NYNY and Monte Carlo in preparation for the park being built there.
Jew Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I'm most excited for the arena in 2016. Definitely think it will lead to either an NBA or NHL team.
jray21 Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 ^I could definitely see one of those coming to Vegas. Still can't wait until there's a Hershery's World that's a lot closer to me than Pennsylvania!
Jew Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 ^Careful, you don't want to end up a diabetic like Dan!
Mr Stratosphere Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Any update on this? A lot of construction is being done on the front of the facade of New York New York, the Brooklyn Bridge is closed off and all pedestrians walk along the strip on a makeshift sidewalk. The water surrounding the Statue of Liberty has been drained and work walls are now inside the casino. I will try and get some photos tomorrow while I am on property. Work is progressing on the front of Monte Carlo as well, you won't recognize the place, the only thing familiar with Monte Carlo is now Diablos Cantina.
