^And according to popular consensus, you'll probably be disappointed.

Says who? Popular consensus is not always the same as my opinion. If that were true, El Toro would be my #1 wooden coaster, which it isn't.

As a big fan of Silver Bullet (probably considered one of the "tamest" B&M's from what I hear), I don't need extreme forces to make a ride fun. It is a variety of the elements on the ride, surroundings, among others.

That's why I like Talon so much. It flies over the queue, swoops over the entrance while people look on in fear, "kicks" the people watching from behind the fence near Wildwater Kingdom - and it does it all so gracefully.

Keep in mind that my favorite inverted coaster is Alpengeist though.

^But I do think Talon is still a reasonably forceful ride. The helix after the immelmann and, most of all, the turn after the corkscrew are pretty intense.

I agree. Remember, many of us forget that Silver Bullet has a really punishing helix at the end. What's great about this coaster is the new-age B&M style with the less forceful, more fluid and smooth transitions mixed in with some of B&Ms vintage high G-forces with the bone crushing helix before the break-run - A great way to end the ride

Do Maverick and Outlaw Run have a lot of positive G force like Batman? No. Do a lot of people rank it higher than most or all B&Ms? Yes. The problem is about the creativity and uniqueness. It seems like B&M stopped creating new things from a long time ago already.

Have you not seen Heide Park's new coaster, Flying Over the Rainforest, Hair Raiser, Sky Scrapper/Ripper, Oziris or the Gardaland Raptor? Those layouts are absurdly creative and I want to ride every one of them.

I mean new coaster types and new elements. Sorry for not making myself clear enough

My favorite coaster is San Diego's Manta. Obscure opinions are what make this website interesting, and you're not really helping.

Yeah, that ending helix is extremely intense. I think more-so than Raptor and few others. I am surprised so many think its so "forceless". The only low point to the ride, IMO is the first drop. Everything else is excellent.

I remember when Talon opened everyone said the same stuff... Forceless, not as good as the other inverts, etc... I loved it and still consider it a top invert (hense my username)... But what is funny is that today, many people now consider Talon one of the better ones, which is great, but interesting how opinions have changed over the years on this ride. Just something I have noticed!

Only problem is that none of those are in the U.S.

The final helix is the only part of Silver Bullet I can actually feel. The rest of it has forces equivalent to a family coaster.

Well, that isn't necessarily B&M's problem, now, is it? They don't tell the parks what coasters to purchase, the park tells B&M what they want - and right now the United States is in the age of Wing Coasters. I'm sure it will pass eventually.
