Team Thriller Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Hey all just wondering (and I feel like this is a stupid question but I couldn't find a solid answer on six flags' website) but if I buy a season pass at one Six Flags park, does it work at every Six Flags park? (For example if I buy one at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom can I get into Magic Mountain with it) If I remember correctly, you could awhile ago but I don't know if anything has changed. Thanks! -- James
ambe_bambe Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 I have another questions to add on to that... If I buy a Six Flags Xtreme Season pass at Magic Mountain (The one with the 25% discount on Food and Merch in park) can I use the discount at other Six Flags parks too?
MrTwister Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 oh, i'll post it here instead of a new .... is it correct hat the SF season pass is arround 90 Dollar? cheap , instead of the 180 bucks for cedar fair Parks
Homeboy23 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 ^ The season pass price is different at each Six Flags park. Check the website for prices.
MrTwister Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I know! But i wonder why it is so cheap! Or is there a version with visiting all SF Parks US wide and one with only the park where you buy it? And all of you who buys the pass in the park.. How much time must i plan for it? The last seasonpass i buy, was the pass for germans movie world. And on that day i stand 1 hour in an extra queue! And the whole procedure (Foto, sign,Printing the Plastic card) takes 30min extra... So that can be problematic if i want to buy a queuebot/flashpass... Unfortunately i can't order any pass/tickets online from outside USA. Why? I can understand that if its a seasonpass (shippingcosts overseas etc) but print&go tickets????
deathbydinn Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 ^ No, Six Flags season passes will get you into all Six Flags theme parks and water parks that are included in a park ticket. SF season passes don't work at: - Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark, Lake George, NY - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Arlington, between Dallas and Ft. Worth - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Los Angeles - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, New Jersey - Six Flags White Water, Atlanta - Six Flags Wild Safari, New Jersey' The time it will take to process a pass will vary. On opening day this year, SFGAms season pass line was huge and probably around an hour or so wait. But when I got my 2012 pass at the end of 2011, it took ten minutes. The first few weekends could be bad, but after that it should be fine, maybe 20 mins.
MrTwister Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Is there a chance to go "normal" in the park (pay the tiket at the booth), and before leaving in the evening getting to the booth were you get seasonpasses. Did they credit the amount of the daytiket on the season pass? Or is there a chance to get an TPR Club account and get from someone/TPR Club help so i can order the Seasonpass through the internet? I dont understand why i can't order tikets/passes through the internet when you're living outside us... print&go ... Hey i have a printer too!!
LaMapa Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 If you buy a ticket (or season pass) at the SF park, you will be given a receipt at the ticket booth. Instead of getting your pass processed in the morning when everyone does it, use the receipt to get into the park and get your pass at the end of your visit! Works like a charm every time.
alilstronger Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Keep in mind the Six Flags Season pass does not include parking. Even if you buy season parking it is only good at the park you buy it at.
djcyberlegend Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 is it the same in cedar fair Parks? More or less. Some of the CF parks' pass processing centers are outside the park gates but their system is a lot quicker, instead of putting your photo on the pass itself, it's stored in their system so your mugshot will come up on the screen when your pass is scanned at the gates. Major time saver, and you'll have an active pass the first time you pass through the gates - no worrying about losing a voucher in the park if you bought the pass online. Also, the platinum pass is the same price and can be processed at any park no matter which park you buy it from, where a SF season pass has to be processed at the park where you bought it from before you can use it at another park.
