RCT3Bross Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 (edited) A threat for all my trips to parks. First trip for the threat : Today a day Efteling. Reason for the visit was because the Parks season starts tomorrow and I wanted to take a good start. Came at 10:20 inside the park, which was later than planted. But yeah it makes me not off to the day itself. Entrance with 60 years logo: Started with a round of python who was deafening ticking. Saw little activity at the Flying Dutchman and George and the Dragon. So after the round of Python, I asked if they both would open later on the day (well you never know with the Efteling.) with good news. To the afternoon of the day I decided to look around to walk towards Bird Rok. Luckily it was not so busy here could straightaway and had a round or 2. Then the Dream Flight where I could go in immediately, nice quiet day here yet. It was still morning, but still wanted to see if George and The Flying Dutchman had there doors opened yet. So Walked towards Polle's kitchen what had a big day for it because it was pancake day so it was very busy at the pancake house. Park chairman Bart de Boer was there too in a funny jacked. A picture of cleaning up the pancakes day: On my way to George and Dutchman I notice some things, the bob ran tests so ran through it yet without any real hope that he still opened today because it would be in maintenance : Soon I saw the sign for maintenance stand and immediately saw some boats in the Piraña, I found this odd since I thought that it was closed till Sunday. Thats what I heard. But just went on it even whit the chilly weather, and then of course I got wet. Had already seen that George was turning so quickly just went to it, what was a wrong choice had to wait half an hour. Well Flying Dutchman still wasn't the boat that was in the dune house in the morning was gone, good news. : D So to Fata Morgana in a rush when I walked past the Bob I noticed that the sign was gone. Someone was standing at the entrance and told just 2 guests that he would open in the afternoon, again good news early opening Bob. Construction of Aquanura a photo: The Efteling was still busy to rebuild the Steenbok a eating facility. Photo of Burger Backery: Whent to Villa Volta now. Was not busy at Villa Volta because I was there with 2 others in. After Villa Volta I went in the direction of Bird Rok, and then to direction Ruigrijk because I felt like Dutchman. Arrived in Ruigrijk and Dutchman still was closed. So fast i toke something out of the wall and then the Python again. After the python I went straight for water George and it was less crowded now luckily right up the stairs. After George round I really wanted to ride Dutchman but when I walked by he was still closed to open after my back and thus I reversed toke a sprint draw and bingo Dutchman's first round with guests. Heard that there was a duck in Dutchman's harbor but it moved on to a other scene further in the attraction. I saw him and thought her must be a picture of, so: Decided to take a look at Bob, is he open yet? Answer was no. So creepy time in the Haunted Spookslot. After leaving the Spookslot I heard screams. Could only think of 1 thing: Bob is open. So up to Bob and I made a round. After some coasters in Ruigrijk I walked back towards Bird Rok. Then up in the direction of bob for another round this ended in 2. It was already quite late but ran to Dutchman's direction and afterwards could once again take a ride on the ghost ship. Had some time left and was thus a little for the latest rounds George (fire and water) after water ride finally came to the broadcaster who you says you really must leave the park, and so it was time to return home after this beautiful day. Thanks for reading my report. Edited May 15, 2016 by RCT3Bross
gisco Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 It doesn't look warm enough to have a water ride open. How wet did you get?
RCT3Bross Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 ^Well I must say although the weather didn't look good it was just a cloudy day. Okay it wasn't warm but all I wore was a sumer jacket and I didn't had it cold . But I did get the wettest of all that day. I usually don't get wet on a rapid ride, but just that day I got hit whit 2 or 3 big splashes of water. So I was pretty wet but still didn't had it cold.
RCT3Bross Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 Yesterday I had a day Walibi. I had not been there since the park got it's change of image, so I had to take a look. Was early in the park and started whit 2 rounds Xpress. The blacks and gray is in my opinion better, I think its suite better by Xpress. Xpress Onride: Certainly improved. After two rounds quickly went to the Speed of Sound. I had never ridden a boomerang coaster before let alone a roller coaster backwards. I needed to adjust on going backwards after the first round, but on the second round I knew what to expect. Very nice ride with the music. First Boomerang coaster for me. Then over to the wooden roller coaster but first Excelibur. Was early at the wooden roller coaster Robin Hood or how I like to call him "The Martyr". It has become a very painful ride. He sounds smooth but the torture takes place in the train makes little sense to ever get in there. Poor people if they knew. Torture turn. So I went to something a lot less shaky the Space Shot and Goliath where up. The Goliath had a what better experience than before, my own experience . Then I slowly walked towards El Condor. Remains a fun and a great last coaster of the day. But it is the first SLC Coaster of Vekoma so a very shaky ride it is. Goliath as last name that reminds you that Walibi Holland used to be Six Flags Holland. I know they bad. Had problems with my settings. Then the afternoon, I walked through the park doing all kind of attractions such as Xpress a few more times, Speed of Sound, Goliath, El Condor a round or 2 extra. Also Crazy River, Merlins Magic Castle and El Rio came to pass. After some food I went back for round 3 in Speed of Sound. On my way I came against Club Spyke something that I've been wondering if to do or not. I watched the show time and hurried to Speed of Sound and Xpress to do before the show. I am personally glad that I had done those two quickly, because to be 20 minutes to early in the club would not have been worth it. The 5D show is still quite beautiful and the interactive part as for show is pretty funny actually. The Movie I found pretty short but the idea was great to me and the fire effects are very pleasant to watch. other people missed the chairs, I not. I found that watching it while you stand very funny. The glasses they need to make tighter. These where very loose whit a lot of people over there must be something to do about that. But of course I had a nice day at Walibi. Departure: Walibi, these were two great cars, why those stickers. Goodbye and see you next time.
simon8899 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 The new trains on Speed Of Sound are great. They should be mandatory on all Arrow/Vekoma coasters - with these trains this coasters are actually big fun... Now all that remains is that Vekoma is developing something similar for their SLCs...
RCT3Bross Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 Oh I forgot my last Efteling Trip report a while ago. Allright only on request I shall still post him so if you want just ask. (Was from Aquanura openings day got pictures of the show) Yeah I've been away again this time Heide park. Today I got back from a 3 day holiday in Germany. Wednesday I left to a small town in Germany, Bad Fallingsbostel, to go the day after to Heide Park. The park was a lot of fun but more for children, so as a teenager you are through it quick at 3 o'clock we left and we had done all we wanted. But that didn't make it less fun. The coasters were all good Especially Krake and Colossos. The day itself: We were early in the park half an hour before the gates opened so we needed to wait. But then quickly walked to Krake for the B&M fun. Although only a small track, it's surprisingly good. The fall is beautiful in the front bungling there above the Krake. Then on the way to Big loop, which was near. Then the second highlight of the day: Scream! this sure was fun to do. I must say I'd rather go in a Shoot 'n drop than into a free fall they're a bit duller. Then we enjoyed the fun in the Swiss bobsleigh run of the park it was more fun than in Europe park, but that is certainly the length. Then highlight 3 of the day Colossos the highest wooden roller coaster in the world. It's were we had to wait the longest time for, 50 minutes others were 30 minutes at the most. The Chain lift certainly has a nice view at the back of the train of the park. and when you turn away and got lifted from your seat for the steep drop it was awesome. I decided to raise my hands once in a coaster so I did in Colossos. Not so good idea I knocked my elbow very hard on the handle of the lap bar so hard I still feel it. Drop Colossos: One of the last hupjes: Last turn: Well we did Colossos and Krake and it was just 12 o'clock, but there was still plenty to do. After some food we decided to take it a bit easy so Grottenblitz the motorized roller coaster. After that something a bit more thrilling so up to the desert for Desert Race, The queue was long but went surprisingly fast. We were lucky because there was only a couple in front of us before we could queue up in front of the train, that couple decided to sit somewhere halfway the train and so I could sit front seat what I prefer with Launch coasters. Desert race: End launch and Colossos behind it: GoGoGo! Beautiful helicopter: Still one roller coaster, Limit. So, yes, Limit it was. In front of Limit hung a horror sign that said "Prepare for a 60 minute waiting to ride Limit." Well that was it for my father and brother (who didn't want to way that long anymore) but not for me, I just kept standing like a roller coaster fan supposed to do. Eventually the queue wasn't that bad after all just 30 minutes. Aircraft on the Roof of Limit: A Look at Scream from Limit's queue: The ship and the Krake, really nice to see: Again people waiting for the fall: Actually zoomed too far and was too late, but still quite nice to see that water: Better. The water that follows you during the splash. It was quite high I must say: Well that was it for the photos but not the day. Then we went to the water, the log flume to be precise . It was fun but short, I would rather try the one that is closed, but yeah couldn't. Now some more shops. First the Lego shop just for fun but that didn't impress me at all (and that with Legoland having the same owner. (Merlin)). Well just forward to the main shop I walked in and I saw another nice T-shirt laing there that I couldn't say no to. So I expended my collection with a Colossos T-shirt . Looking back to it I'm pleased with the day in the park the rides where nice and I just love them.
RCT3Bross Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 Recentley back to Winter Efteling. (November 17th 2012) Although it looked fairly quiet in the morning I found out it was quite busy in the afternoon. I started my day in my familiar corner namely Ruigrijk for a round of Python and George and the Dragon. Then to Anderrijk for Bob but it was very busy so walked to Fata Morgana. After Spookslot I walked to Marerijk for a ride in Droomvlucht and Raveleijn. After Raveleijn I was hungry and I was already calling that I once had to try the donuts of Rondje van de molen (round of the mill) so done and it tastes pretty good. After I had had lunch at Reizerijk walked for natural Vogel Rok and I do not know what happens there. Where returned to a busy Ruigrijk where I could only ride George and the dragon once again. After that I went to the Bob it was quieter than the first time so stepped into the row. After Bob I wanted to once again go into the Fairytaleforrest but with my patience I only stopped at 2 fairytale Girl with Matchstick and the Emperor's New Clothes. The rest of the day I spent Carnival Festival and again Vogel Rok. I rushed to Villa Volta and Droomvlucht before the Illusions at night fell, Then I walked back to the Villa Volta for the illusions and this time they did it. It's much nicer in real life than on video for sure. I could ride one time George and the Dragon in the dark and the bob before I quit riding rides and decided to watch the shows. Now it was time for the start of Aquanura's first show. Now I had seen both shows at night so back to Villa Volta to make some picture's of the illusions. After that I passed by Rondje van de Molen and headed back to Aquanura for some Donuts and photos of Aquanura. Thanks for reading. : D
RCT3Bross Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 Have an other Trip report for you guys. I've been to Toverland Yesterday as my first park of 2013. (Toke some time) The weather is really a mood killer at this time of the year, it even affected my day. My first coaster of 2013. Not entirely planned but the other 2 where in a area that opened 2 hours later then this one so not much of a choice. Still a lot of construction on the Rapid that opens later this year. The Bobkart Woudrace is a really fun ride. Taken before the ride opened. Now the Booster Bike and Troy are open and I've done them both. But I saw this sign at the entrance of the new coaster 'd Wervelwind. Some pictures taken in the new area of the park. Didn't look like it would be spinning anytime soon. The Water show "Katara" wasn't filled with any water due to construction work. New restaurant in the park. Time for some pictures from the exit of Booster Bike. Yes you see it good those are big plates of Ice. Looking at the new rapid station. From the side: Some more of Troy: Later in the day I noticed how well the park threats there guest. The new coaster that was closed due weather issues was able to open later on the day so I took a sprint when I saw them testing. Station. Trains. Staircase to the station. Final shot of the day is from Djengu River: For a first time visit to this small park I wasn't let down. The employees are friendly and helpful as one went far to get me a park plan when I asked her at the end of the day. The park has some great rides and I enjoyed all of them, a park worthy of a second visit later. That's it for this time.
RCT3Bross Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 Monday I've been to Walibi Holland again. I just had to do something as I was bored. After a 2 and half hours of traveling I reached the park. It was really quite in the morning and I did some 2 rides in Xpress, when I entered for ride nr. 3 the ride was down because of the rain (I could understand this since my second ride was in the rain and that hurt, after I came back it rained harder so) Around the 10 o'clock (opening of the rest of the park.) the rain settled down and the ride was reopened, and after the ride I entered the park. I first went to Speed of Sound and could hop on for 2 rounds. After this I grabbed a snack and went towards hell (in other words the Vekoma SLC) After losing my brains in the SLC I walked towards Space Shot, which unfortunately broke down with me on 20 meters high. So after a slow decent of 20 meters, unknown why the ride stopped and slowed down so high, we where informed the ride was broke and we had to wait for maintenance to set us free (what was pretty quick so after 3 minutes we where free). So yeah After already I interesting day I kept going. I went to Goliath as it was still very quiet I could go for 2 rounds. After I left Goliath the tower was still down, so I kept walking towards the wooden coaster when I noticed queue's got bigger. So I skipped Robin hood this round an went on Merlin's magic Castle. I kept going around in the park and stopped at the flume for a ride alone. After riding the flume I kept on going and stopped at the 5D theater what was about to begin so I didn't need to wait so long, after the show I kept on walking towards the boomerang coaster again. This had a big queue at the time and I had my longest wait out there. As I got back to square 1 I rode Xpress again. I grabbed an other snack and went all the way to El Condor again. That ride knocked my brain so far out I actually thought it was a good idea to ride it 2 times. After the: "thank you for riding Vekoma" headache I had my brain back on it's place and ran so fast as I could towards the Intamin Mega. Noticed something on this sign that wasn't right. I walked towards the Topspin as I noticed the tower was working again. Robin Hood still had a to big of a queue for a ride. I reaced the topspin and got a ride. After the topspin I went for a second flume ride and again Xpress. I went for 2 rounds on the Shot and drop as I had to do it again. Queue's had died down around this time so I went for it Wooden hell, and I didn't went on it 1 time, I didn't went 2 times, I was stupid enough to let it torture me 3 times (still hurts ) With all the pain in my legs I walked towards Speed of sound and Xpress for the end of the day. I got some snack before departure and have a 2 and a half hours ride back towards home.
RCT3Bross Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 A new Trip report of today. This time Walibi Belgium. After today my 2013 season is already over with now 49 credits thanks to the 5 I got today. (I'm aware there are 6, but I need to confess I don't ride the kiddie coasters.) Arriving at the park. First Schwarzkopf (although altered) for me. No theming at all inside or outside of the tube. Calamity Mine. Dalton Terror fun. Loup-Garou is more comfortable than his brother but still a pain. Vekoma SLC's I had to for the credit. Cobra was more of a highlight today, have to admit it. A round Rapid. Never expected the Water ceiling to be that effective. Missed a picture of Palais du Genie, rode that here. Flywheel. Safety rules in English: Don't eat, don't drink, don't throw with sack or little brother. So you know. Final ride of the day already. Time to go.
RCT3Bross Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Today I kicked of the year 2014 for me. After not visiting the Efteling the entire 2013 season I decided to go back. My first coaster of the year ended up Beginning the Python. Good first. After that we went to Joris en de Draak (George and the Dragon) for a round fire. After this we went to the rocking Ship for a round. This lead us to go to Vogel Rok (Bird Rok), who was wearing his winter gear again. We continued our way towards Villa Volta. In the 2013 season the park made a major change in the Raveleijn show. This meant we had to stop here for a visit because I was curious. Drapes before the show. Of the show I didn't snap any pictures, but I have to say the show was much better than the previous one. One word amazing. After the show we went to Bob and after that Fata Morgana. Some pictures of the Swiss market near the Bob. After Fata we walked next to Piraña the parks Rapid ride. It is undergoing some a big overhaul. Here will come a new gate. Majority of the ride is covert in white tents against the cold (Well we have to deal with 10ºC in the plus (50ºF), normally this time a year it would be the 10ºC in the min (14ºF)). Passing the Bob entrance. On our way back to the coasters we passed some interesting excavation work. After the Python and George round 2 we went to the Droomvlucht (Dreamflight), it had reopened Past November after a update that cost 3 months to do. New green in the queue, big improvement. After this we went to Vogel Rok round 2 and 3 before we went to look at the new ice-skating tent (this year you could skate outside, we didn't skate at all though. ) Night came and we walked towards Bob. It was past five now so we went to look at the 3d show of Spookslot before going to ride the coasters at night. We went to Villa Volta for the 3D show and a round. About now we had seen it and went to enjoy Aquanura a round Fata and Bob and finish with Aquanura. Fata Morgana. So that was the start of the 2014 season for me. Very good and look forward to this year. Till the next update.
RCT3Bross Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 I'm back from a day 3 day trip to Heide park (only yesterday we where at the park). So here's a new photo trip report. Back at the park after 2 years. Shadow of Krake, ready to ride again. Flug der Dämonen works so would be next. But first ride of the day was Krake. Krake Feed the Krake. Time for my first winged coaster and 50th credit, Flug der Dämonen. It was a great ride, worth a visit. More Flug der Dämonen, there are a lot of it. Looks good. Lug der Dämonen? Limit time, regret it. Tricky one it was hot dog time. Grottenblitz, also fun. Dubble Immlemann. Ship wreck. Big loop. Friendly goodbye for you go. Nearly got one in my feet, those near misses are good. More of Flug der Dämonen. Really love this fence, where can I buy one. Logo's around the station. Colossos time. Broke down car. Water rides always fun. Krake time nr. 2. Final ride Flug der Dämonen to close of the day. Had a great time. First time riding a winged coaster have to say I go with the others, enjoyable ride but nothing really special. Tomorrow we have the next park Movie park Germany.
MichelleHeesakkers Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Nice pictures. Especially of Flug der Dämonen. I have to say it was a really good one Our first wing coaster. Was a great day.
rcjp Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Nice report! I would really like to try the park, it seems to have a nice collection of rides (especially colossos )
RCT3Bross Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 Had a new visit yesterday, Movie park Germany this time. Weather wasn't great, so less pictures. Arrival at the park. Starting of with van Helsing's Factory. Great suprise of the day. MP Xpress, now I'm halfway through the SLC's I will ride this year, looking forward to have the Vekoma headache *cough*. Nice car. Mack mouse, always a fun ride. Bandit, I thought the retracking would have improved the thing, guess I'm wrong. Ice Age dark ride. Van Helsing's Factory was so much fun we needed 2 rides. Some awesome cars around van Helsing's Factory. So had a great day, too bad about the weather but was doable. Anyway's ready for my next park which one is still in question, not up to me.
RCT3Bross Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 Yesterday I visited Walibi Holland because of Xpress: Platform 13. Looked great. Xpress Platform 13. Vekoma boomerang. Sherwood forest. Robin Hood, on the lift I asked one important question: Why do I keep doing this? Goliath with Black supports. Good to see the black train, 1 it looks good, 2 fits with the supports. Condor's new color. (Still not my thing) A ride at El Rio Grande. Xpress: platform 13. A visit at club Psyké. Have been close to 2 topspins this year and both I didn't do, but had to do it again. Because doing rides once on a day is to boring. Some pictures of the new queue. I have to buy a new watch. Mine stops at 06:59 and goes over in 07:00 after that. One look back before going home. Anyway great day. Xpress new queue looks great the best at the park. Hope they keep up the good work.
RCT3Bross Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 After not visiting since 2009 I've been back at Phantasialand and the park has changed a lot since then. Chiapas was a wonderful addition to the park and the chances of the past few years had some sacrifices I did mis but the park looked as beautiful as ever, those sacrifices weren't in vein. Expected big Queue's but this was the biggest of them all day. Colorado again since 2008 been a long time and lot of chances. Some pictures of the queue. New restaurant, had to take dinner here when the day would come to an end. But first the park. We took the long road to Fantasy so we could grab a snack. In th meanwhile some pictures of Chiapas. Chiapas steep drop. Looked a lot steeper in real-life then on pictures. Some pictures from the bridge. Still on our way to get some snacks. Backwards. We took the mountain route. Black Mamba wouldn't want to mis it but not yet time. Still on route to get something to eat. So I took some pictures, because I never take them, or so I thought (ended up with 141 pictures 31 where bad never did that before) Some pictures of Alt Berlin after eating and heading towards Fantasy for the Winja's. Fantasy part of the park looked so much different. Entering Wuze town. Inside Wuze Town on our way to Winja's fear & force. Temple of the Nighthawk, boring ride, but still a must do. Our route back to Mexico for Chiapas. Looking forward to it. Still wondering what this means. Some pictures inside the queue. Uuh Hawaii or Mexico? Some props in the station. A picture after rinding this great ride. Still angry about the Germans who made me go in the front of the boat and my girlfriend in the back with them four in between us, still in the front was awesome. We would do Black Mamba next but had to take a small stop before that. That stop gave me a opportunity to take a picture of the new (bad) color of Colorado. And now we got our chance of Black Mamba. On our way to Mystery for River Quest and Mystery Castle. Queuing for River Quest, easily the best rapid I've ever done. Still. Mystery Castle this was my first ever time riding it regret that it wasn't sooner. Inside Mystery Castle. In the morning we did Fear now we did Force. We decided to queue for Maus but the queue was too long for our doing and the ride broke down. So we went to Mexico. And Jesus lead me the way to this cave to ride Talocan. Old cars do something with me. Alt Berlin. Hollywood tours looked worse then ever. Time for a upgrade or Miley Cyrus with her wrecking ball. Black Mamba round number two. Colorado walk on. We toke the new route under Colorado to ride Chiapas again. Station. Beautiful. This picture looked familiar. Remember now. Eating with a vieuw. Why this wall? Because that was where we got the food. Full stomach and on our way to home. On our way to the exit. Anyway a great day. Still one of the best parks I visit so far. Now it's waiting for my first real trip which are Holiday park and Tripdrill, but have to way to almost August for that.
MichelleHeesakkers Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Chiapas great ride!! Awesome pictures of it!
rcjp Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Awesome report! I don't get tired of saying this: the theming in the park looks just astonishing.
RCT3Bross Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 I'm back from a weekend at Germany, Yesterday I left for Tripsdrill and today I did Holiday park, right now I'm at home. Anyway let's begin. Like I said Tripsdrill yesterday: So what better start of a weekend of parks I never visit before? Right Karacho, these where taken waiting for it to open: And open let the queue begin: Took this of the site for the new restaurant for next year. Karacho's construction is going fast: Towards station: Trains look good nicely done, station not so much: Don't even start on the exit: So a new wooden coaster that makes 7 wooden coaster credits, yes speeding up now : Well a look at G'Sengte Sau from Mammut: Flume time, those girls in there need a towel or something or atleast some of them : Now G'Segte Sau, was a fun ride: After this we thought about a walk around the park to see what more to do, well conclusion: Nothing. Well sure a lot for children en families with small ones but for us nothing: I have to say some operations at the park where not of quality I'm used to, like literally hop on rides: So yeah we decided to fill in the rest of our hours to re-ride the coasters: Took some nature shots: Mammut ride 2: Well a bird because I had to fill in the time, we couldn't go to our sleeping place before 5 (end up doing it in the end and wait another hour): So yeah Karacho again? sure: So after another round we came to the mini drop towers, and I was like: "well paid money to get here, might as well." and we saw fish: So this summarized our day at Tripsdrill: Day 2 Holiday park (today), here we go: Super Wirbel's train was in the museum: We where early: So we started with Sky Scream, we literally walked to the ride was nobody in sight (except a couple behind us) so we where the first of the day, off-coarse front row: Conclusion: Awesome ride loved it : To the so called best coaster in the world, Expedition GeForce. I can only say worthy title, after 4 years Blue Fire is no longer my nr 1: Cars love them in theme parks, always nice theming (if they're real): Drop tower House of Anubis: Dutch version came up, thought by myself: "Long time ago since I watched that show.": German's and their beer: The haunted house, I have to say my seat was wet, kinda awkward there was no water in the ride. I don't want to know why it was wet : So credit 6 the last on the trip Holly's Wilde Autofahrt (Yes 6 kiddie coaster at Tripsdrill, I don't ride I don't count): So a round around the park (didn't end up riding the lighthouse tower, didn't feel like it): That was fun, now Expedition GeForce again: So we decided to take a look at Majaland For fun: But yeah decided to ride Sky Scream again, because it's good: So yeah another small round and towards the exit, a stop at the giftshop for 2 T-shirts for the collection (Expedition Geforce and Sky Scream) and towards home: So conclusion after this small trip: I spend 2 day's while 1 was good enough, small queue's or non at all means you are fast through them so next time I think I do make a double visit. The parks aren't bad just there is a small collection of attractions if you're a bit older and into more thrill rides, I enjoyed the two days but felt like a expensive weekend when you're like ready to go home at 1 o clock.
RCT3Bross Posted October 21, 2014 Author Posted October 21, 2014 This Saterday I've bee to Europa Park and hadn't have the time to post the trip report, but yeah here we go. This is Halloween, First time Halloween in a park, had no idea what to expect but I'm up for it again: We were late so walked to the back and on the way I took this picture: Wodan was new since my last visit in 2010, it also sett this year credit counter on par with the 2010 counter to 10 credits, Lucky me there was an other I missed making 2014 the best coaster year I ever had. Ironically Europa park played the deciding factor in making both 2010 and 2014 the best year so far. Blue Fire through the wood: Entrance: Queue: Hel, Half Alive half dead: Weird faces of the indoor queue: Train: Coaster action shot from Station: Drop front view: I enjoyed this one again. One of the best I did so far: Queue time: Launch go: Pumpkin Dino: With Arthur I got my 11th credit this year and surpassed 2010. I have to say like the ride, feels like a coaster and the darkride aspect that does add up to the ride. Would re-ride this for sure: Arthur shot after exiting: Silver Star, a must do in Europa park for sure, even if it goes wrong, we had some problems with the seatings and I ended up riding without my Girlfriend (She didn't fit in the regular seats, and I had no problem with that at all.) but the point was she enjoyed the ride and that made it all better because she really wanted to ride it: So up to our own little cold land for a ride at Piraten van Batavia: I need to tel this guy his time machine worked: Captain Jack: Halloween actors walked around all day, This is Halloween: Then we hide under satilite Mir for a round at oh yip Euro Mir: No wonder the tv worked fine at our rest place: Black Lights: Poseidon, this remains so much fun: Wooden horse back or b...: More Poseidon: Treasure shot: [imghttps://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/v/t1.0-9/64357_745027202237100_3888119064369642609_n.jpg?oh=949ba1dda5f5f67e4f42f8b64f1046a1&oe=54F4E32D&__gda__=1420884800_b3b9ac83ffcdb28a220eeaef984044c1][/img] More pictures taken in the queue: Splash shot 1: Splash shot 2: Horror maze for the evening, I had no intention to go there anyway: Dance party tonight: Fluch der Kassandra at Halloween: Close of was Matterhorn Blitz, no big close of this visit: This dude was waiting at the entrance, he needs some meat: [imghttps://scontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9/149370_745027515570402_6479509505804108146_n.jpg?oh=f5e0ac6bbb6f2eb504c3473219c626e5&oe=54B48ECB][/img] And from inside and outside the park the park logo: And Silver Star to close this Trip report of: This pretty much closes my 2014 trip reports off. I only have 2 trips to the Efteling for construction updates of the Baron 1898, I might make a report of my December visit, otherwise till 2015.
RCT3Bross Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 ^It really annoys me all the old pictures are gone anyway new one's: Today I want to do another Efteling Photo trip report, It's been a while since my last trip report and thats why. I will do it different today, I only post photo's no text, I tried to take a little time for some picture moments rather then just make random photo's like normal, I would love to have some tips to take better picture's in the future (I do have a bad camera, so please don't judge quality), If you have tips I will listen : And done. Till next time and that will be September a photo trip report from Hansa Park.
RCT3Bross Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Back from my first visit to Hansa park, going there wasn't a fun trip we where 20 minutes away form our sleeping place when our car broke down, it's still in Germany now and we have rental car that got us to our destination and back home. It was a sad overall experience and we're still not completely over it. Only rode the 4 "big" coasters and Holstein-Turm. Die Glocke, Fliegende Haai and Torre del Mar where also skipped despite having inters in them, either due to not feeling it or the unreliable weather. Super-Splash, Rio Dorado and Wildwasserfahrt where skipped due to the cold and rainy weather. So I came for more then I did, despite that I had a great time. Walking to the park and seeing Kärnan makes me exited. So I always remember the time I passed the front gate. First coaster of the day was a classic, squeaky and noisy ride on Nessie. Not a bad ride at all, although when exiting the loop my head almost got slammed on the front of the car. It's everywhere. Let's go for something a lot better, Fluch von Novgorod was a real good surprise. I expected the ride to feel a bit of a letdown with first a launch and then a lift plus drop, But it worked really well. Although that said, the park needs to learn how to operate this with 3 trains, cause 2 trains is just 1 to less. Loved Novgorod's queue, hated the exit that maze was really unnecessary and confusing, and why the hell did we come out all the way on some random location? After Novgorod it rained really hard and we needed some cash so we went back to the entrance area, had to take some pictures. Crazy Mine, Could go alone so jumped in the single rider line and had to say went pretty fast, 3 persons stood before me and had to wait 5 trains. In case of emergency jump in mine car and go into mine it's safer there. Lot of trains on standby they could afford it here. God I love single rider lines, they're slim down the regular queue and get you faster up front. We need more. We save the best for last. God it's fast. Wonder how it all will look when it's done. So I have to say I got a new favorite ride, it knocked Expedition GeForce of my number 1 spot. Cause the rides are evenly great but this one get's the edge of the knife because it had 2 handicaps when I rode it. 1: Theming isn't done yet, bet that will help ride experience a lot. 2: It rained when I came out of the tower, hurt so much and I didn't do a re-ride when it was dry (1 hour wait all day). Despite those still an awesome ride. After Schwur des Kärnan we walked around the park sightseeing, and Sea seeing. You could see it form almost everywhere. Old machine thingy. 2 Fences are still there. Ride operations needs some polishing, 1 train every 3 minutes (We checked one time and it was quick for the next came at that time) and more? The bag system is slowing it down really hard. Rising up in Holstein-Turm. And a great closing shot. Despite everything enjoyed my day there, Maybe I will stop by next year after Sweden because it's worth it. A nice park and a great way to end 2015 (will do some Efteling visits but will not post the pictures). See you next year.
