Chroniq Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 The Singapore Flyer is located conveniently off the MRT line. If I was staying in Singapore, I'd hit that up as I've never been on a ferris wheel of that size before. It also looks like there are no other credits on the whole island.. Â And the above photo looks like a David Blaine style flying shot.
robbalvey Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Keep trying. Not giving away any more clues.
stellaclose Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 You are taking the monorail one stop to the other side of the island and doing the Mega Zip Adventure Park. Get the Fast Pass!
Chroniq Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 http://www-singapore.com/activities/luge-skyride.htm  This would be fun and the above photo could certainly be taken on a chairlift.
Gav Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 2nd last pic is Waterfront station on the Sentosa express monorail...was there a couple of days ago, so either getting off at Imbibah or Beach Station  Last pic is perhaps one looking down from the chairlift that goes to the top of the Sentosa luge.
stellaclose Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Now I'm thinking you guys are heading for the Flow Rider at the Wave House. You just need to take your shoes off.
robbalvey Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 http://www-singapore.com/activities/luge-skyride.htm This would be fun and the above photo could certainly be taken on a chairlift. That would be correct!
robbalvey Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 The Luge was a lot of fun! Imagine an alpine slide that you can steer!
stellaclose Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I love love love Sentosa Island. So much great stuff to see and do.
robbalvey Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Sentosa has absolutely exceeded our expectations! It's like a huge "private cruise ship island" times 1,000. There are so many things to do from shopping, beaches, bars, retail, adventure tours to theme parks, luxury casinos, dining and resort hotels.  Just as far as amusements go, besides Universal there is the Luge, zip lines, indoor sky diving, flow rider Wavehouse, sky rides, etc, etc  We could easily spend 2-3 days on a TPR trip here and not do everything!
stellaclose Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 And they are opening the Equarius Water Park soon. Should be a great addition.
sspaz1000 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 That luge thing looks totally awesome. I'm impressed that there is so much on that one island.
Chroniq Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 (edited) Looks like a lot of fun. Robb- How would you compare Universal Studios Singapore to the other Universals? Â Â and- Photo the Gateway Computer a few pages back- Sentosa Gateway road? Edited February 8, 2012 by Chroniq
robbalvey Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Croniq - if you (or anyone else) can guess where we are now... BONUS PRIZES!!!
stellaclose Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Looks like a lot of fun. Robb- How would you compare Universal Studios Singapore to the other Universals? Â I can't speak for others, however I preferred it to Hollywood and Orlando. It was a better overall experience for me than I had at any of the US parks (I haven't been to Universal Japan). And the food was great too. I felt the attention to detail and quality of attractions in this park is extraordinary. It is a very small park, but what it lacks in space it makes up in a great atmosphere and high quality themed attractions. And it's totally fun too!
QueerRudie Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 That strange rock formation looks like something I saw at the Botanical Gardens...
Chroniq Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Straight up guess- Something I'd also do if I was in Singapore---- Â The photo looks very Dinosaurish (making up words since 1981) .. USS Lost World would be the easy choice.. Â but the Singapore Science center has a dinosaur live exhibit. so I'll go with that.. Â or you could just be playing mini golf somewhere.
robbalvey Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Nope and nope. Keep trying. You're in the lead right now Croniq, if you can't guess this, you forfeit the game! (Ooooh.... It's on now!!!)
Chroniq Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 http://www.gamasutra.com/features/20061123/tigerbalm.jpg  Underwater World has a lot of cool stuff to do. It's close to the luge and has similar fake rocks.
Chroniq Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Butterfly park- Insect Kindgom. I think I matched up the rock work.. If that isn't it, I'll be learning a lot about Singapore over the next half hour.
