^ Oh wow, that really stinks.

 

A little background on it being closed that weekend. It was actually supposed to open that Friday but they were set back about 5 days in getting the rehabbed track bolted back in. That in turn didn't give the state enough time for inspection for it's permit to operate. I was bummed too.

 

Shock Wave is being disassembled now for more rehab work with the same occurring next year completing it's 5 year program. So if you plan another trip in the next two years, I would come end of April or better yet, first week of May.

Must find an excuse to go to Texas! This looks amazing and I'm glad they are putting the effort in to keep it a healthy and happy coaster!
