Teddymonster Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Screamscape posted this auction today on their website. Neat stuff...and it's still relatively inexpensive. http://cgi.ebay.com/KENNYWOOD-STEEL-PHANTOM-CAR_W0QQitemZ6206869072QQcategoryZ13996QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting
verticalzero Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 US $305.00 is a good price for a Rollercoaster car. As it is such a rare item to own, In the UK that's only £150. If you like the coaster the car came from you would bid for it. How much is a " Phoenix" or "The Beast" coaster car worth..??
MagnumForce Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 (edited) You don't see many woodie cars for sale as they are usually rebuilt and not replaced, unlike the fiberglass bodies of an Arrow Looper. I have seen GASM cars sitting in the junkyard on Scrapheap/Junkyard Wars. In fact someone made a boat out of one of them. Edited September 9, 2005 by MagnumForce
YoshiFan Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Very cool, too bad it's local pickup only (I guess shipping would be very expensive).
RctInfinity Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 AWW, MAN!!! I NEED that!! (So I could pretend I'm on the old version of Steel Phantom in my spare time. ) Can't when you said that it was cheap, I thought you meant that it was $50 or less!
F1shy Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 Haha... if I bought that... and I was babysitting some kids, and they did something wrong, normally I would say, "Go to your room!", but if I bought that, and they did something wrong, I would say, "GET IN THE STEEL PHANTOM CAR!" and lock them in the restraint.
Canadmos Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I would bid if it still had the wheel assemblies :?
