Upload your Roller Coaster & Ride Videos to CoasterTube!

Hey everyone!

 

Theme Park Review is looking for awesome roller coaster and theme park ride videos! If you have any cool videos that you have shot from out

of the way, obscure, or even popular parks, please upload them to CoasterTube: http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/

 

We are looking for roller coasters, flat rides, dark rides, etc! Whatever you've got, we'd love to check it out! To some of our European or outside-the-USA members, if you have videos of some strange or cool rides, please upload them!

 

You may even see us feature the video on TPR's front page or one of our publications!

 

Please note the following rules:

1. You MUST have obeyed all park rules in order to film the video (usually applies to on-ride filming) or had permission from the park to film onride.

 

2. You MUST own the footage, meaning you shot it yourself, it's not something you downloaded from another website or recorded off a TV show or DVD.

 

3. Your video doesn't have to be "current." If you have an older video that you shot a long time ago - upload it! We'd love to check it out.

Hey Guys, I tried to upload a video but as I clicked on "upload" nothing happened.

Can someone help me out?

Just tried it, and it is working fine for me. Make sure you are actually signed into CoasterTube first, as I think that requires a separate login from the forums.

It shouldn't. Your forum login will carry over to CoasterTube.

 

And I just tried it again, in Safari, Firefox, and IE, and seeing that other people have been uploading videos, it's working. The problem has to be local on your machine, sorry.

Robb, what are the allowed videoformats ..... I try 2 upload my full 1080p videos but that doesn't work !!!

The 1080p file should work. Can you try renaming it and re-uploading it. I'll look into it on my end too....

I don't see any attempts at uploading. What file was it? I would try a .mp4 as that seems to be the video format that works the best, but in theory, all video formats should work.

I'm currently uploading a POV I shot earlier this year of feeding some wallabies at Busch Gardens Tampa. Figured we could use some critter cuteness as well as kick-ass coasters.

Still a problem for me 2 upload my hd videos ...... no problem on youtube ....... problem on coastertube !!! damned ... over 12 hours of themepark footage in HD ..... please help .... What exactly is it doing? I'm not even seeing in the system an attempt by you to upload anything. Other people have been able to upload HD videos no problem.

AVCHD-video (.m2ts) ...... these are all my video files .... is that maybe the problem !!! when I want 2 browse them ..... he can't find them !!!

Ahh, yeah, that's a raw HD video file. It's going to have problems with that. It takes the standard .mp4, .mov, .avi, .wmv, etc....

Here is the last video I uploaded to CoasterTube. It is a POV of Atlantis Submarine Voyage at Legoland Windsor. This ride was a world first as it incorporated the submarine ride system with a real fish tank. So I guess this ride should be called Atlantis Sea-Life Submarine Voyage Center but thats a bit to long.

 

This POV feature a full ride cycle view of the information screens inside the submarine and then following it a view from the glass inside the submarine looking into the tanks themselves.

I'm looking to add some videos, but after I click the "Upload My Video" link it allows me to put the required information in but not select a file or start the upload to the site. Is it me, or is the upload section currently unavailable?

I was able to enter my information, select the video file, and fully upload the video. Once the video was uploaded to 100%, it couldn't seem to finalize as I received this error message.
