xChris125x Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) Here's my newest project, Hurricane. My stand-up coaster Tsunami from 2 years ago has gotten a lot of views, so I wanted to create an encore project. Edited October 10, 2011 by mcjaco
AJClarke0912 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I could tell it was handbuilt, but only after a ways into the POV. Which means AWESOME job! Seriously, this was great. I had seen your Aza track (I think on RCTLounge) and I thought it was pretty good, but this is great! I really love that twisting air hill...it seems characteristic to a stand-up but it's your own element. Wrap-around immelmann wasn't quite B&M-like in feel, but handbuilding to that quality is hard and it was pulled off well. I really liked how everything else flowed. The layout was of good compactness, which helps it be in a real park. First drop probably has wicked airtime in the back...totally needs to happen on a future standup! Such a steep, graceful drop. This had me fooled into thinking it was Newton. Extremely smooth and well done! The rest of the layout was good, although the quality dipped a tad in the last half of the ride. Of course, proper flat spins are hard to handbuild, so good job at that. Other than a few banking glitches (I believe a few turns were overbanked) and some super-subtle handbuilding flaws (that I would find rather unavoidable), it was great. Great ride...you need more attention for sure! Some quality balls-out NoLimits without frills here.
Lamoure Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 That's a really great coaster! Great Layout, smooth and very unique!! Awesome!! Only one personal dislike, the missing B&M pre-drop But it's only my opinion!!
coasterlover420 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I respect how much time you put into your coasters Chris. Keep it up!

CP_RULES Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Hate to resurrect this, but I found this ride on my temporary files from forever ago and had to comment on how awesome it is. Great work, man, fantastic for a hand built ride!
