Sir Clinksalot Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 We went to a bbq at a friends house yesterday in Santa Clarita. Not much to report, some food, a baby, a bobcat that is friendly, and a view of SFMM. Here are some pictures: Me holding Emma, she is a doll and it was fun playing with a baby. Gregg holding Emma and Daniel on the side Josh and Daniel on a stuffed giraffe A closer picture of Gregg holding Sammy...he was a beautiful cat, kinda scary though... Here is Sammy, part bobcat and part domestic cat...very friendly More fishies SFMM in the distance... Cutie pie Emma who is 3 months old... Amanda and Josh feeding some fish at our friends house...
coasterguy618 Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Good Photo TR! BTW, the cat huge! Its so awsome!
AllisonY2K Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 what made the cat scary? nice pics, btw.
BelizeIt Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Wow! Thats one Extra Large Pussy Cat!!! The Cat almost resembles a Maine Coon, which is a breed of cat that can reach the Fifteen Plus pound range! By the way, that House has some Nice Landscaping! Between the Rock Waterfall and the Fish Pond, it looks great! That is money very well spent!
Hattuchili Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Hey Kristi, nice photo TR. The fish in the garden looks nice. I like your TR´s. Thanks for posting. --Sören
4718 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Where was that house? I'd put it somewhere around Copper Hill, just going off the angle of SFMM in the distance, might be off Decoro though too......
Sir Clinksalot Posted September 6, 2005 Author Posted September 6, 2005 Kristi also didn't mention that the baby pooped on her, about 30 seconds after I gave her the baby. I still can't believe how big Sammy was. Just look at the size of those paws.
Token Yankee Guy Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 awwww, that cat looks adorable. How much does the kitty weigh? The Cat almost resembles a Maine Coon, which is a breed of cat that can reach the Fifteen Plus pound range! My cat groucho is a Norwegian Forest cat which is like a cousin to the Maine Coon and he weighs about 13lbs. He's a heavy kitty.
Space Freak Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I miss my kitty sooooo much!!!! Where does one get a cat like that? Thats absolutely AWESOME!!!
4718 Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Where does one get a cat like that? Homer Simpson: "It all starts when the protron meets the neutron........" Seriously, I think it'd involve a bobcat NOT eating a housecat for once, and a very "accepting" housecat.
FlyingScooter Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Nice. What does that cat weigh? Looks huge. Love the fish.
Sir Clinksalot Posted September 7, 2005 Author Posted September 7, 2005 The cat weighs 17 pounds. He was huge. The paws were gigantic!!
disneygurlz2s Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 The fish pond is cool. Is that what they call a KOI pond?? Shari "I bet the kids loved that... feeding fish is always a big deal" Shoufler
Sir Clinksalot Posted September 7, 2005 Author Posted September 7, 2005 Yes it is a Koi pond. The backyard was really pretty. Someone asked a few posts up where that was. It is in Castaic. If you turn left instead of right to go to SFMM it is a newer housing track. Very nice houses.
BelizeIt Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 ^^^Wow a 17 pound Cat!!! I bet the small Dogs in the neighborhood Cower in Terror when he walks by. I have a 16 pound Ragdoll cat, and my Father had a 15 pound Maine Coon a few years back. The BIG breads of cats are the best ones to own. As others have stated they do have HUGE paws!
