If Disney, Universal, and Seaworld/Busch worked together

Recommended Posts

Imagine what it would be like if Those three great theme park companies worked together on a joint project creating a massive theme park resort. It would have all kinds of theme parks, waterparks, hotels, resorts, city areas, and much more. It would be like an American Version of Dubailand, without all the Arabic stuff and that it wouldn't be put in a desert. The main theme park would be a cross between Disneyland and Islands of Adventure, as well as having influences from theme parks like Europa Park and Phantasialand. It would also be put next to the other Orlando theme parks, as well as Busch Gardens. Like Disney said, this place would always be expanding, and when something has to go, it would be replaced by something better. How do you think something like this would work?

Disney is never going to collaborate with anyone.

Why wouldn't they? They can make some very great things when collaborating with the other companies.

But then again, why would they when they already have the top 8 parks in the world by attendance in 2010. They are already on top, there is no need to collaborate, at least from a business standpoint.

But it wouldn't have to be a Disney park with their style of theming. Disney and Universal would work on park theming and they, along with Seaworld, would make designs for their attractions and use many from different manufactures like Intamin, Vekoma, and B&M. Disney Imagineers along with members of Universal Creative would make ideas for their more innovative attractions.

For the person who mentioned Europa Park, I stated in my OP that the primary theme park (e.g. Magic Kingdom) would be like that park, but with Disney-style themed areas. It would be a better themed version of that park too.

Im sure if those companies created such a park, the revenue splitting would become convoluted and ridiculous, and they'd be suing each other non-stop. They'd also be essentially creating their own competition, and the market hasnt taken kindly to new parks in the US since IOA. Nonsensical notion, IMO, I think those companies know that they are best suited to continue using the markets and investments they have currently become entrenched in.
