What I can't figure out is whether the skates have up stop wheels or not. Is he locked to the track?

 

Either way this is an incredibly dangerous stunt. If he lost his balance, he would, at bare minimum, suffer severe trauma.

 

Not sure I understand these people.

 

I'm with you on this one! I don't get the need to do this. It is an incredible stunt, but he is playing with death and sooner or later it will catch up with him.

Follow that logic and suddenly nobody would ever do anything. Imagine the risk you take every time you go for a ride in your car!

 

I'm not implying that going down a roller coaster in skates is one of humanity's great achievements but someone had to be the first to eat an oyster, ride a roller coaster, bungee jump, swim in a shark cage, go to the moon, etc etc

When I worked at a park I used to day dream about doing this all the time.

 

Except my idea was to hold on to a tow rope attached to the back of the train. On a coaster with inversions (A simple Arrow double loop, double corkscrew. Nothing insane like a B&M).
