Formule X is a smooth coaster. there where al lot of school children, so we where the biggest non crew people in the park.. Formule X is very nice,, the hangtime is great! First look at Drievliet.
Thom25 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 ^ WOW - Great pics - Thanks for posting. Are both parks in the Netherlands and how easy are they to get too from Amsterdam. I'm coming over 7/8 for Nine Inch Nails and think I'll need to check these parks out - Any advise.
Movieguy Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I never cease to be amazed by these newer coasters with their ultra-steep first drops. Great photos, great TR. Always nice to see what's going on in other countries with coasters.
larrygator Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 hobbit - thank you I added your pictures of Falcon to TPR's Park index
thrillerman1 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I absolutely LOVED Drievliet's Formule X on the TPR Europa trip last summer! So great and probably the biggest surprise of the whole trip. Thanks for the photos of Falcon too. It looks good! Edited to add that I'm really glad the name changed to Falcon. Rick's Delight just sounded too much like that yucky marshmallow dessert garbage from the cafeteria during my junior high school days.
dr.gumbo Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 ^ Agreed, Falcon's a boring name. lol Again, thanks for the photo's. Both parks look great and so do their coasters, I can't wait to ride them this summer.
thrillerman1 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 ^^ Tom you've obviously never eaten the food from my junior high cafeteria!
alpengeist04 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 ^No way, Rick's Delight was a much cooler name! I totally agree. ...Just think of the funny captions we would have in the trip reports.
SharkTums Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I hadn't really been following this ride or park, but I like the way they put it in the trees! I don't think any of the other Eurofighters are like that, it looks really nice.
