Koolkid Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Amazon Adventure is an out-of-control raging tiger themed GCI-ish coaster flying through a tight tropical jungle. It's got airtime, and quick changes of direction. Thing's I'm pleased with -The Layout, I think its quite original and fun -The pacing, it's a really frantic coaster Thing's that aren't so great -It, in some places it's rough - It fails the tunnel test, I would have sorted this out but If i did I felt I would have to change to much of the coaster , which in general I'm quite pleased with. Please enjoy and feedback will help me so much so any is very much appreciated having trouble resizing pictures, will upload some as soon as possible Jungle Run.nltrack here's the track
Thelegendarymatthew Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I like it, very GCIish. However there were some yellow spots, and some bumps towards the end. Also, I don't when woodies are not brown, but thats just me.
DBru Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 ^He said he doesn't like it when wooden coasters are NOT brown...
paintballer Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I like it, very GCIish. However there were some yellow spots, and some bumps towards the end. Also, I don't when woodies are not brown, but thats just me. Yellows still ok on NL! It's only the reds when it gets bad.
Koolkid Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 Thanks everyone for your feedback , I'm going to try and improve it, I never really was keen on the ride after the MCBR so going to change it . Also going to try out different colour scheme's that look better than that green. Thanks again
mcjaco Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Just asking, but you guys do know you can add photos and pictures to your first post? You don't have to do multiple posts.
Koolkid Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 Yeah I do know you can , I didn't this time because Imageshack was playing up on my computer, I did try to and will do aswell in future posts
Koolkid Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 Ok , Just re-read my post as well and sorry if I came across aggressive , didn't mean to at all Edit: Here is the new and improved Amazon Adventure ( Re-named to Forest Fire ). Anything slightly related to a jungle sort of area has been removed as, someone pointed out before, the colours didn't best suit this type of coaster. The ending is now 1000x better in my opinion and despite the short amount of time I have made it in a lot of drafts and changes were tried out. Once again Enjoy amazon adventure edits 2.nltrack I think this is the right one
dr.gumbo Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Don't really think the colours have improved much, they're far too garish.
themeparkman25 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 What I liked: -the layout. It was fun, though not really "safe". -The swooping aspect all throughout the coaster. What I didn't like: -Colors. Still not down with them. -You had some high lats on the turns. To me, you built some of the turns just so that you can have a 90* turn instead of building the coaster to run smooth and low in forces. -Pacing. What is with that really slow section where it barely makes the hill? Overall its not a bad coaster, though I think that you definitely could have executed the ride a little better. Keep trying though, your doing great.
Koolkid Posted May 15, 2009 Author Posted May 15, 2009 Thanks very much for your feedback will definatley work on those things in the future , and which hill do you mean?
themeparkman25 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 ^Just looking at it, I would say it was actually the hill leading into the MCBR. I am in class now and dont want to run the program, but I just remember one hill that seemed super slow, am I wrong?
Koolkid Posted May 15, 2009 Author Posted May 15, 2009 Ahh I see which one you mean , its not really a hill , just the turn up to the MCBR but the last quarter of it is taken very slow , I see what you mean now thanks.
