coastb2 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Is this your start of your woodie? http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p5671 Or is it some thing else?
Xpress Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 ^Hah, I doubt it. I now have 1700ft. of track in about 40 minutes
CCJared Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Is this your start of your woodie? http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p5671 Or is it some thing else? No comment! Edit: Also can you please post the grading scheme, so that we know what criteria we are working towards? Makes our lives a hell of a lot easier and stops us from geting disqualified for stupid reasons.
dr.gumbo Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 ^^ I'm not sure how the ride's will be marked, I haven't been highlighted on the matter yet. Also, your ride looks awesome, can't wait to see more.
Xpress Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Yeah, those are some pretty epic shots Here's one of mine:
CCJared Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Yeah, those are some pretty epic shots Ermm... Wheres the rest of the track?
CCJared Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Well I've seen his coaster and mine kicks ass compared to his.
dr.gumbo Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 ^^ Owned. lol ^ Got any picture's or anything, or do you want to keep it a secret.
CCJared Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I should have some more pictures up sometime tomorrow. I'm just finalising my layout and fixing a couple of banking twitches. This, like my previous two wooden coasters, Jolt and Toledo will be fully hand supported. Which means everything other than the catwalks will be made by me. It's something I enjoy doing. If you want to see pictures of my custom support work then have a look at the link below. http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p5482
CCJared Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 A quick update before I go to bed. Support has begun.
Xpress Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Yeah, you saw my V1.0. I'm not showing you my next version(s), which BTW will be insane, based off some of the best wooden coasters, such as Cornball Express, or Cyclops, or even GhostRider.
Xpress Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Woo, I've nearly got my track finished Now, just to wrap it up, then work on supports.
DBru Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 My submission is finally complete! Eric, please use the download below (this file contains the template), and everyone else, please download at this topic (template-free file): http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50768 Savage.nltrack
CCJared Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 I'm pretty sure those supports on the bridge won't hold up.
DBru Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I have an idea! Why don't you all concentrate on your own coasters, and stop trying to tear everyone else's apart?
Xpress Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I have an idea! Why don't you all concentrate on your own coasters, and stop trying to tear everyone else's apart? Because I have the time and ability to do both at the same time.
CCJared Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I'm not trying to rip your coaster apart. I was trying to offer a little bit of so called "constructive critism". Whether you take it on board for your next coaster is completly down to you, but theres no real need to get arsy about it.
rollerboy Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 ^ I don't think DBru was getting "arsy" about anything. He's right. As for the coaster: I love it! The pacing was tremendous. Great work DBru. Oh and also, was it AHG'd? It didn't look like it. If so, you are amazing at smoothing!
