Hello all, my name is Frankston, George Frankston, and I am a professional photographer, hired to take pictures for the general public (YOU) about the new theme park: Excitement Point.

Yesterday, I was informed about a new theme park that is situated in a valley, with a beautiful river running throughout the park. The land has been bought by Stoks Co. productions, who have recently built the car park, for future peeps to park their cars.

As I am a close friend of the Stoks Co. owners, I have been asked to get feedback from the general public for new ideas for rides, scenery, food stalls etc.

Just so you know, I have discovered what the parks moto will be.

Even the best roller coasters are not good enough for Excitement Point...

I wonder what that could mean...

Comments and criticism for the park are welcomed, and I promise you that all thoughts will be handed over to Stoks Co. for future building purposes.

Now, on to the pictures.

SCR92.BMP

The traditional "Merry-go-round" ride is the first ride to be placed in Excitement Point.

SCR95.BMP

Here you can see what Stoks Co. has done with the carpark, looks quite nice I think.

SCR94.BMP

As I flew by, I was able to get this aerial shot of the park.

SCR97.BMP

The entrance area looks almost like a small fair.

Another aerial shot to finish.

Remember, comments and criticism are welcome.

Looking good thus far! I think that you have done a brilliant job with the rides and the scenery. It will be good to see some more exciting things go into the park though.

Some comments:

-Build some buildings, they add a lot instead of just having rides surrounded by a concrete forest.

-Theme it? I know it is just the entry, but what will the park carry a theme(s)?

Keep it up, look forward to the upcoming udates.

^More exciting rides will come in good time, remember the park is called "Excitement" Point. The thing is I am not all that great at building buildings, so I usually just use them for food, drinks etc. I will try building some though, if you think it will make the park look better. At the moment the park has a generic theme, as there is a large river there will be two other "islands", both of which will have different themes.

Thankyou very much for commenting.

Due to the lack of buildings, and the general public wanting some more, Stoks Co. has been able to work throughout the afternoon to get some buildings up.

SCR99.BMP

The entrance area with some buildings, what do you think???

SCR100.BMP

Due to lack of "excitement" Stoks Co. have brought in their first coaster.

This is a small teaser as this will be the last update of the day.

Please comment!

This is so much better than your previous park, you've got rid of the blocky buildings and it looks tons better, the only advice I can give you is landscaping a bit more, but thats just me

This is looking very good. The only thing that I don't particularly like is I think the purple stripe on the buildings is just a bit much. I'd maybe try a lighter shade of blue, much like on the Carousel, but that's just me. Otherwise, keep up the good work, I'm excited to see how this park shapes out!

You have improved for sure.

I'm going to be quick on this so . . .

The Goods

-The car park set up

-The idea of having a different entrance set up than the traditional "main street".

-The choice of entrance rides

-The buildings

The Bad

-The colors on the buildings, the magenta could be a different color. That or the roofs.

-I don't like the four entrance fountains, you could replace them with flowers, or even change the fence and lower the water a bit.

-The fact that the coaster looks like its in storage, but you have pieces raised up to around 20ft.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE.

Thankyou all very much for all the comments you have given me, they have helped me a lot with my park building. Keep them coming.

The reason the colours on the buildings are so bold is because I wanted the entrance area to stand out, make a statement, though I do understand what you mean.

The reason that the coaster track is in the air is because I wanted to use the track to build with, in those positions, I wanted the area to feel as if Stoks Co. were actually building the ride at the time of the photo.

Another update today. I was surprised to find that Stoks Co. had worked throughout the morning to finish the construction of the parks first coaster: Furious. The colours of the buildings have been changed to a light shade of blue, to match the merry-go-round.

Better or worse??

^Good point. To be honest with you I have no idea, I just thought it would look cool, maybe not...

Construction has continued and Stoks Co. are starting to get the "Excitement" out of Excitement Point, with their latest coaster.

I give you MOONRAKER.

Blasting through a 100 plus kmph lift hill through five inversions and seven drops, this 4D coaster is sure to please.

SCR108.BMP

No scenery has been placed yet, however I have been told there will be a lot of landscaping going on around the ride in the near future.

SCR109.BMP

Testing started today, so Stoks Co. could gain stats and decide on how to theme the coaster.

SCR110.BMP

A more natural look was given to the buildings.

SCR111.BMP

To finish this update, I give you the completed Moonraker, with supports, station themeing and queue line.

^Yeah, I know, it's just that it looks quite cool, and this park isn't really all that realistic anyway, I'm just trying to create new and exciting roller coasters, even if they are unrealistic.

I know I said that Moonraker would be the last update, but Stoks Co. have built yet another coaster. However, Stoks Co. felt that the general public were not involved enough with the naming and colouring of the rides, therefore, the next coaster is uncoloured and unthemed, except for some supports and a queue line. They want you to come up with the name, colour scheme, and ideal surrounding scenery for the coaster.

Just so you know it is a Vekoma Corkscrew Coaster. I have supplied some pictures of what the ride looks like at the moment, the supports will also be coloured accordingly.

SCR113.BMP

Overview of the new coaster, as you can see it is uncoloured at the moment.

SCR114.BMP

A close up of the support work, and the majority of the layout.

Ok, my suggestion was kind of bad, the colors didn't work out like I had seen in my mind, sorry about that. The current more neutral color though is definitely the wiser choice. Moonraker looks kick a$$, though I would suspect a movie named after a bond film to be that way. It is a little unrealistic though, since S&S has not made a launched 4D coaster yet, but something tells me that thought has probably crossed their mind once or twice. I think it just needs a bit longer of a layout. It seems too mad cobra-ish to me. Anyways, keep up the good work!

*edit* A good name for the new coaster, I'd try to tie it in with Moonraker, since they are almost side-by-side. Probably name it Jaws for the infamous steel toothed villain. As for a paint job, I'd leave it as is, just change the color of the trains to maybe black and grey.

^I know what you mean about the length, it's just that I was originally going to make it a Flight of Fear type of ride, with a twist (the twist being the fact that it is a 4D coaster), however it would have been way to blocky to have the main section undercover and the ride is way to big. I'll see what I can do about the length...

That is a great name, I didn't think of that , however before I change it I'll see what other people have to say.

First off, I love all of the park except for Moonraker. This thing has got to go. It is WAAYY too unrealistic! Just look at it!

On a positive note, the new coaster looks great! I agree with Pufferfish on naming it "Jaws". Maybe make the train gray and red, though?

Posted

^^Without supports it had 7.82 excitement, 9.92 intensity, and 9.01 nausea.

As it turns out Stoks Co. didn't like Moonraker either, so the following pictures show the now demolished Moonraker, except for the lift hill. Is it possible that another coaster will take over...

SCR116.BMP

The nearly demolished Moonraker.

SCR117.BMP

Only the lift hill is left...

SCR118.BMP

New supports, maybe a new area is on the cards.

Please Comment.

The replacement of Moonraker, Stoks Co. Kingda Ka

SCR120.BMP

Stats. It uses the jaSkyRider LOL!!

Well, the new supports on the Vekoma look better, but why a Kingda Ka knock off? you could have just done it as a new version of Moonraker. Oh well, it looks nice anyways. Maybe it could do to have a slightly taller tophat or a smaller hill afterwards. Great support work on it. Anyways, I'm excited to see what this new area will be themed to, since it's obviously no longer James Bond.

^The tophat is a high as it can go.

Due to a small arguement with Six Flags, Stoks Co. have had to revamp most of Kingda Ka. Now with four inversions, seven drops, and over 1,000 metres of track, I give you Ignition.

P.S. This ride has my best supports to date.

P.P.S. Sorry about so many updates about one area, it's just that I want to get it perfect for the park download (Did I say that out loud )

Please comment on the park, and keep those ideas coming for the Vekoma coaster.

SCR121.BMP

Stats for Igniton.

A close up of my best supports so far.

Comment please.

^Thankyou very much, I quite liked the colour scheme myself.

^^^I used DovePete's Steel Pipe Supports and Toon's B&M Supports, if you wanted know.

Thankyou all for your positive responses, and yes this is another update.

Stoks Co. were beginning to come under scrutiny because of their lack of wooden rides. After a meeting with the Stoks family, the workers came to an agreement with a reasonable 1 million dollars for a wooden coaster, due to these price restrictions the coaster is unthemed except for some supports and a queue line.

So, without further ado, I give you Prairie Rider.

With just under 1000 metres of track Prairie Rider flys through the hills (literally) and with it's cool special element this woodie is one you will never forget. The following pictures show the stats, special element and an overview of the ride. Enjoy.

The special "water over track" element with stats.

We haven't had one of these in a while, an overview.
