Azanderz Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Hello. im new here and i want to show you my second park ever for rollercoaster tycoon 3. This have been in process quite a while but i still havent finished the park for its first official opening. on some pictures there is peeps, but that is for pre opening, only to look at the rides, no rides where open. The entrance area New shot of the ball coaster !! The new kid section. The newer B&M inverted coaster. Its a terrain coaster Then the B&M coaster got a name. Apu which is a Mountain god and it fittet well for the coaster since it is a terrain coaster. and finally here is the parks signature. The giant old tree.
DBru Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Wow, this is pretty darn good! I love the ball coaster, and your building style is nice. And you're just a beginner?
terrancew_hod Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 ^I think he is a member on the Atari site. First post and you've probably embarrassed a lot of people with this concept called "planning your park". Nice work. Terry
the ghost Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Seven Flags!I love it!! You're park is awesome and, so far is very realistic, keep it up.
Steffen_Dk Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Jamen hej - og velkommen til her også As I've been following this over at Atari; I can just comment on the new coaster, since I've already given comments to the rest of the park. The layout is really great, and I'm sure that the coaster itself looks much better when you've finished all the cs-supports. I really like that the inversions suddenly emerge - that brings a great excitement to the coaster, I think. I can see that you've used CTR for it; I've tried to make a CTR inverted coaster too, but all the elements did not show up - could you give my some advice?
themeparkman25 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Great work with this park! I am highly impressed with the attention to detail you are giving the park, specifically the invert and the kid section. I am a little confused as to what the theme of the entry is. I know you said main street but it looks like you have moscow like entry buildings and then just a mixture of other buildings. I am not saying change anything, cause I think you have done a great job, but I am just confused as to the theme. Besides that, I love it all and can't wait for the next update!

Terry yes i am but this is my second park of all time Wow, this is pretty darn good! I love the ball coaster, and your building style is nice. You're park is awesome and, so far is very realistic, keep it up. thanks Jamen hej - og velkommen til her også As I've been following this over at Atari; I can just comment on the new coaster, since I've already given comments to the rest of the park. Yep, i know that entrance doesnt fit well . Im not a good Architect but im doing my best. I dont really know why the entrance is something Sultan palace or Moskov themed Update later today, probably with a finished B&M inverted ! EDIT: Forgot to tell about what the buildings are. I will take the mainstreet for now. The white house in the middle is a gift shop. The biiig red house is a restaurtant. Then there is the small white house next to the entrance. Thats toilets. And then there is the yellow small building. That is where you get fastpass
Azanderz Posted March 18, 2009 Author Posted March 18, 2009 Update. As promised i have a finished B&M Inverted ready for you guys. I'm am very happy with the (nearly)finished coaster. i need footers for the supports... A little bit more have been added to the miniature railway I have also started working on a new water ride. It will be themed something like niagara falls Did you notice the ?? on one of the pictures. well this is what you could see on that other picture. Then for some info. Im going on vacation tomorrow. I will be back sunday evening. BUT ! if you post alot of comments here i will reward it with a huge FIRST SEASON OPENING update thursday. So i hope to get home at sunday and see a thread with alot of response !
Steffen_Dk Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Ohhh - custom made wooden supports for a splash boat ride which normally is steel supported - that is going to be interesting. And I would like to have your Bahn.daten
themeparkman25 Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 This should have been posted awhile ago, but did you do something to those first pictures? They seemed liked they got tilt shifted or something. The new ride looks great though, keep up the great work!
BelgianGuy Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Tons of respect for even wanting to make custom supports like that!!!! Other than that the park looks very cool but I think the station of the invert is a bit small
Azanderz Posted March 31, 2009 Author Posted March 31, 2009 thanks for the few comments that have been posted. though there was a weak interest for the park i still decided to go on with this. I have made the station building for the water ride. The whole building. Front of the building. The whole front Some dirty windows. Exit.
DBru Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Nice building! The purple roof could use some texture, though...
Azanderz Posted March 31, 2009 Author Posted March 31, 2009 Nice building! The purple roof could use some texture, though... woops forgot to tell that it is purple so it can be recolored in rct3 also the text is recolorable EDIT: Just a small update, a cover for Imagineerjohns Hopper Ride. It will be located close to the water ride, so it is the same theme as the station building.
Azanderz Posted April 2, 2009 Author Posted April 2, 2009 Update time... I have to fix the orientation of the buildings, they are turning the wrong way.
BelgianGuy Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 MAN YOU HAVE SUCH A COOL RIDE AND YOU KILL IT WITH THE RED STATION!!!!! It all looks very cool but plz switch the red roofs and walls for something with more texture
netdvn Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I like the red roofing. It looks fine. I do have a problem with the lettering on the station being hard to read though. I want to see more of the water ride soon. The Tiki Shack ride looks really cool.
Steffen_Dk Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I agree with BelgianGuy - the red roof ruins the feeling of the ride and the station - it would look much better if you made the roof the same texture as the roof the station has. Btw. it would be great, if you made a set out of this.
Azanderz Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Thanks for the comments. This will probably be the last update before the opening !!! Some things have happened. The new powered coaster will probably pe the last before the opening. Also some buildings have been added. In the "mine" theme area i have added a saloon. The building with the red roof. Also a toilet building have been added. The Water ride have gotten a Photo Booth. And last a small gift shop have been added, i dont know if you can see it in the pics. A big restaurant have also been added, its the large grey building. New Flatride called Kaboom, I wonder why ? A little wet maybe ? The bridge over the splash area. Here you can also see the gift shop. Water ride in another angle The new powered coaster Overview of the area. New restaurant Now some peeps point of view shots to see that park from another angle
Azanderz Posted April 12, 2009 Author Posted April 12, 2009 1st season grand opening ! I welcome you to the first official opening ever of Seven flags: fun world. Its an exiting day. A huge amount of persons from the press have met up. In front of the entrance huge crouds of people stands and are waiting exited for the gates to be opened. Alexander Lund Its an exiting day for the staff here at Fun World. Everyone have waited for this moment over the last 2 years of construction. I cant say anything else than it have been worth the waiting time. But enough talking, lets open up this park and here are the shots from the first season of the park. a shot at Golden Lakes station. Picture taken from Skytower. One of the ride operators took this shot for a commercial. Octupus seen from Apu. The ferry was very popular. ... and so was Zap. At the end of the day only a little crowd was coming to the park. The park map. Now for a review of the day. Overall a very succesfull day with about 2000 visitors. A little dissapointment was Apu, wich didnt get much attention. Zap was a great succes and will hopefully continue to be. People liked the eating places, and no-one really heard about any bad things.
MrX8991 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 That's a really great park! I love the custom scenery. I'm also a big fan of the Shy Guy balloons, considering that's actually my profile pic on YouTube.
Steffen_Dk Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Much bigger park than I'd expected. As I've said before, I really like that you've used wooden supports for the splash ride, and now that I see that you've mixed them with regular steel supports, it just makes me think even better about it - great work. Btw. the new kiddie coaster looks interesting; I like all the tunnels!
netdvn Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 The park looks amazing!!! Everything is so detailed! I love it
Azanderz Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 thanks for the comments all. Im glad you all like it . soon you will get a mid-season update
