TheRapidsNerd Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Happy Chinese New Year to you too! A martial arts buddy of mine who's stuck on a business trip this year usually has a party to celebrate. Here's hopes for good luck, health, and prosperity in the coming year.
Jds03 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I like the fireworks on Chinese New Year! In China Town in Philly, people light them off day and night!
the ghost Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Happy Chinese New Year, I come from a very cultural part of California and there are many people of Asian descent around here(mostly Korean) but there is a huge party tonight and there was a party at my school from the Throughout Asia Club.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 It's chinese/korean new year actually. Happy year of the Ox everyone!
chmilo24 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Happy Chinese New Year everyone. To celebrate it I went to a Chinese Buffet, and the title of this buffet was "#1 Buffet". And after that good meal I went to the local SF SuperMarket to watch some fireworks. --Chris
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 I just came back from the local Asian mall for a chinese new year celebration. Was a good show even though I kinda got bubble tea spilled on my hair! Thanks to some clumsy little kid who was standing on the balcony above me...
