Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
My first attempt at making a dueling layout...Not the best. I was originally going to do it with woodies but instead I changed my mind and did it with standups instead. As you can see, when you make a dueling layout you have to basically built both sides at the same time to make sure it works out. I can't even rememver how many tries it took for me to get it right. There's the track layout. I had to mess up quite abit of the ground. You can also see sorta a "headchopper" section on the blue track right before the helix. Here's a shot of the peeps riding through the underground section on the blue track.

thrillrideseeker
hummm....I dont really see much "dueling" I agree! This looks more like a racing coaster, than a dueling coaster! But either way it looks good!!~Matthew
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Guess it will become a racing coaster then... it's really difficult to do a dueling layout hence the reason why it ended up more as a racing. Seems like the peeps prefer the blue side more than the red side. Well it makes sense cuz the blue side turns out to be more intense according to the charts. Here's a lift hill shot. BuschSchoe
Looks pretty good. But are they... dare I say... Togos?
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Looks pretty good. But are they... dare I say... Togos? Fast Lane Coasters Ltd They're my own "made up" brand of coasters lol. The train and track styles are TOGO inspired but designed to be more sleek and modern and virtually free of the dreaded Elements are B&M inspired-ish. terrancew_hod
Very nice! I think I only attempted to synchronize two rides once... didn't turn out that well. I would only add that later, you may want to add a longer breaking section before the station (adding a block brake) so that you can run more than one train. But that's pretty minor; it's more to keep the peeps' wait down. Terry
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Lol I dont think I need to as its not even that popular a ride. I only got a full load once on the blue side. And the whole ride time is only 0:33 seconds as space is so limited.
Jds03
Looks good for your first attempt! A tip for the future though, make sure all your turns are banked like the helix that way the ride will have a lower intensity rating and higher excitement rating, meaning more peps will enjoy it! I think you should try making a dueling GCI woodie next. If you study the layouts of Gwaizi and Lightning Racers you could probably create a really awesome ride! Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
The turns aren't going to be breaking any bodies... And there won't be any blackouts either. As I've kept the positive and lateral G's on both sides under 4. Even though those turns may look sharp.
Kalepi_Konei
^ There's a big difference between 4 positive/negative g's and 4 lateral g's. Laterals are ALOT worse, and you want to keep those under 2.6-ish if possible (if going for realisticness.) That's just my statistics though, you don't have to go by them. But set your own standard. Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Here's the new and improved Red Vs Blue. Both the red and blue side's got their sharpest turns banked and according to the charts, both sides have under 3 lateral G's now.
