Hi everyone, recently the premiere of Little Britain USA was broadcast on HBO. The original Little Britain series has been around in the UK for a while. What are peoples views on it across the pond?

Just for reference, the first episode premiered on 28/09/08 on HBO and attracted 540,000 viewers, whilst the British premiere on 3/10/08 attracted 4.7 million viewers.

I've watched the last two episodes and quite frankly I think it's absolute garbage! It's not funny in the slightest!

I don't know about this series, but can we have Robot Wars with Craig Charles back? I liked that one.

I found all three seasons of Little Britian a while back, season one was OK. It's not until you get to the second season when you get the good stuff.

 

Bubbles Devere and Desiree wrestling on the floor was one of the funniest and most disgusting things I've seen in a long time!

 

Don't know how it would play out to the US. The series would definitely be pushing the envelop on typical decency here... you know how uptight most americans are.

OMG!!! It's Bubbles! Little Britain is freakin awesome and it's shown in Australia before.

It took me a couple of episodes to get into it, but the amount of quotes I use from that show daily amazes me! And I have been jumping for joy ever since i saw the huge billboards around town for it!!!!

 

 

Bubbles is one of the best characters! I also am a huge fan of Daboth (spelling?) The only gay in the village! haha I love those guys

We have that problem at our school. Everytime you turn a corner theres bound to be some little kid who goes 'Eh Eh Ehhhh' It's really annoying! Quite frankly the program took over the teenage world, thats why there are so many thugs and hooligans (I sound like an old man I know).

 

I agree about Robot Wars, I loved that show! Bring back Robot Wars!
