CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Work on the family/children's section has continued over the past week. A new ride was constructed, as well as the entrance to Hannah Barbera Land! Take a look:

Spacely Space Sprockets is modeled after the classic Roll-O-Planes, but runs a slower and more gentle cycle that never inverts riders.

The park proposes to have one of the best children areas in the world, so a Grand Entrance was needed!

I have been told that management is open to any suggestions of how to improve the entrance, as they really want it to be noticed...positively.

More soon.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Work on Hannah-Barbera Land has continued steadily, and wood you believe that 3 more attractions have gone up since last update!

Here you can see the slight modifications made to HBL's entrance, the new fountain plaza, and Scooby's Snacks.

The park has also added a Frog Hopper ride called "Tom & Jerry's Pounce N' Bounce" and a tea-cups ride named "Dick Dastardly's Dizzy Device".

This photo was taken recently over at the park's Warehouse. I sure wood like to know what that is...

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Just took a quick visit over to the park today, and I couldn't believe that a NEW COASTER had already gone up!

Johny Quest's Ultimate Adventure is a junior woodie built by CCI. Because of space restrictions, the coaster has a different layout than it's Philadelphia Toboggan Company counterparts at other Paramount Parks.

The coaster's name was changed during planning stages from Scooby's Gasping Ghoster Coaster to Johny Quest's Ultimate Adventure. Apparently, Scooby will get his own ride in the near future...

Also new this update is the Hannah-Barbera Amphitheater.

The theater will host shows and provide an opportunity for children to meet characters such as Fred Flintstone, Yogi Bear, and Scooby Doo!

What does everyone think of Hannah Barbera Land?

You need one of those automobile coaster type things (haven't played RCT2 in years so I forget the name.) And theme it to the Jetsons (maybe a light blue color with a pale yellow support?) I think that would fit in oretty nicely there.

As for the woodie, I'm not too huge on it, I think it need more terrain and greenry. Then it'd be perfect!

O.M.G!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone guess what I'm about to say? Anybody?

MY PARK IS GONE.

No, I'm not joking. My THIRD attempt at building a RCT2 park is gone. I don't know what happened, but I just went to play my game, and the park was gone. All my other files were there, but not FREAKING PARAMOUNT'S GARDENS OF AMERICA!!!

I don't know if this is a sign that I suck at the game, God thinks I'm on the computer too much, or someone is just SCREWING with me, but I am sick of it, and get the message.

Thanks for all the support, but I now officially hate computers and RCT2, and I am not even going to TRY to make a new park until I get a new one.

^It's nowhere to be found.

When I do a file search, it finds the file, but then when I click on it, it says "file does not exist". GRRR...

^Thank you. And yes, it does!

There isn't a hacker here that really just hates the way I play RCT2, is there...? lol

Personally i think you schould carry on in rct2 because you make great parks and scenery in general i know you had a few setbacks but you have talent!!! i mean it

i know i'm new on the forum but that doesn't mean i can't see whats good or not. and i liked what i see in your parks.

they all have that family cosyness feeling a park schould have.

i understand its frustrating everytime you make a good park and is making progress to good things u get an error but don't let that stop you from making great things.

keep it up i know you can pull it off

^Thanks!

Well we have found a solution for now. Check out BRTeller and my "Frontier Springs" park. Hopefully, with the file in 2 different places, it won't disappear. lol

Thank you again for the comment; even though you're a new member, any positive feedback is great!

I know this topic is kind of old and you are working on the other park, but I would like to ask you to try and work with your other park. Even though the ObjDat has been erased there's still some hope. I can give you the items through AIM and you will be able to finish the island park.

^Actually I'm glad you brought that up... Brandon found the "shaking" file, so we'll see what goes on with RI...

I was following this project and I;m sad to see it go...

You shouldn't give up making parks, you should just make abackup copy of your save file so this doens't happen again.

Keep on building, man.

^Thank you.

So after a short (in length) break from the game, I've decided that I simply don't have anything I'd rather do (at the moment) than play RCT2. I enjoy it so much... but my history with it has just been so aggravating.

I've started a new project today, and I will see how it starts to develope before I decide if it's post-worthy.

Hint: It regards a recent trip I have taken...
